It's all about the number of posts you have. More posts=more pretty golden stars. Anyone can get 5 stars, but if you're wondering about colored stars, thats for mods.

Here's the lowdown on the stars (# of posts required):
1-Newbie- 0-49 2-Cop- 50-99 3-Detective- 100-499 4- Senior Investigator- 500+
The rest, Lieutenant, Captain, and ADA are reserved for Mods, Global Mods, and Administrators, respectively.

A moderator only has mod powers (like being able to sticky a thread or delete a post) in the boards they are assigned. So for example, byrdman only has the mod powers in the Casey Novak, Alex Cabot, and RPG threads on this baord. But the other mods, arandomtuesday, munchkin, and queequeg, have their powers everywhere because they are global moderators.

ETA: Ruda, this belongs in its own thread in Help or in OT. This is a thread for questions about the board. Also, I wasn't quite sure what you were asking about.

This may be a really obvious question, but how do you get a clickable hrl link, so that if you have a really long hrl link to photobucket or an article or something, how would you change it to say here or something? Hope this makes sense, and sorry if its really obvious!

You would write BBC code like this:
text you want to appear

Don't know if this is just my computor being weird or what, but for some reason I can't log out, lol. I mean, it's not a massive problem, as I've only signed in for 6 hours, so I should log off then, but just wondering if anyone else is getting this problem? All that happens when I click log out is that it refreshes the page.
