Wow!! OMG that was one of the best episodes EVER!! I LOVED it. Everyone was a major player in it. And Melinda was just...I don't even know it seemed like she was undercover a bit as well. That last scene with OM was SO shippy to me I couldn't help, but love it. I mean she didn't confess to Elliot when he asked, but she confused to Melinda Shippiness central...Awesome episode and awesome job everyone in the cast did. LOVED it, LOVED it.

You know what was weird though. After Melinda asked Olivia if the guy raped her and she paused for a bit...I swear I thought she was going to tell Melinda that she had been. I don't why I thought that, but I did.

Amazing episode! Horrible scenes, like the one Olivia was in the basement, but still amazing!
When Elliot asked Olivia what happened at the basement, I knew she'd say nothing, but in that scene I was holding my breath too waiting if she'd say 'yes'.

Yeah I was...waiting for her to say something and was hoping it was no, but there was that feeling that something did happen because of the way she paused. And I knew she wouldn't tell Elliot either and I was glad she didn't.

I loved this episode! Mariska was awesome! When she was in the basement with that horrible guard behind her & had her pushed up against the wall & she was screaming help... it gave me shivers, made me cry... ugh... it just took me right there... that was Emmy worthy. You could hear the fear & desperation in her voice & the look in her eyes... wow. That's all I can say is wow! All the actors were great! I don't think Liv told Elliot about it because she was afraid he's go & try to get street justice... Elliot walks a thin line at times... this I think would push him over the edge & he would act out violently. *Not that the guard doesn't deserve to get a beat down, but then Elliot would be the one in jail & the guard would become the "victim"... Better to send him away to prison & let Karma have her way... He'll get his if you know what I mean!*

Well, I know everyone will think I'm nutz but I had a hard time enjoying this episode even with Fin being in it alot.
The news of Diane Neal leaving just tarnished the show for me and even though the episode was good, I didn't enjoy it.

The news about Diane leaving came as a complete surprise to me. Although it was an excellent episode that involved everyone (except Casey, wouldn't you know) and included a stellar performance by Mariska, it just wasn't as enjoyable. I did, however, like the O/M scene at the end.

I thought my thoughts were posted after the episode, but apparently I didn't hit the "post" button or something.
I didn't like the episode overall. Great performance by Mariska as per usual, but that's just it. It was all Olivia. Again. Elliot got to play lawyer for five minutes, Melinda got a second long shippy moment, and Huang got a voiceover. A voiceover. And no Casey at all. The news that Diane is leaving the show, coming after an episode like that, I'm not surprised she's leaving.
The scene in the basement was very graphic, on the border of almost being distasteful. I was surprised at how far they went, though I guess that was what the "view disgression" message was for at the beginning.

Trublu, I do agree it was all Olivia again. Diane's leaving has hitten me like a ton of bricks. I can't get if off my mind. It spoiled even getting to see Fin. I just felt disgusted at the Olivia hour. Even if Mariska is an awesome actress. I came to this show first to see how Munch would do in NYC, then stayed for the cases. Ice-T joining was dessert. But the show is not the same. Once Diane leaves it will be awhile before I can watch next season, I fear. I want the old SVU back is my mantra. BUT it's not happening.
