I just watched this episode (Australia eight or so episodes behind, so i had to find other ways of acquiring the episode ). Despite the news/lack of Diane the i found myself enjoying this episode a lot! I agree that i didn't expect the basement scene to go on as long as it did, and i was wishing Fin would hurry up the entire time. Huang's voice over was awesome as was Melinda's performance. Also when did Fin get a haircut? :/ I was slightly shocked to see all his hair gone.

I actually didn't think Fin had gotten a real haircut. I heard nothing anywhere else about it. I wonder if it was just fake.

This was a great episode to get us back in the swing of things. Mariska's performance was amazing. Definitely worthy of an award nomination. I was clued to my seat the whole time. The ending was so chilling. I was so certain at one moment that she had been raped. I'm anxious to see how Olivia deals with the aftermath of things. Amazing work.

Well, I never get to see Conan, cause he works nights and I work days. LOL. So of course I didn't see that show, but thanks for clearing that up. Rambabe, you are always up on the latest news. Gotta love it. Believe it or not, I haven't heard his hair discussed anywhere. DUH. If I am out of the loop on Ice-T then the world is coming to an end.

I saw like the last 5 seconds of the Conan interview, yet i thought he had his ponytail still, ah well i must've seen wrong. I agree why haven't people made any mention of this before?

Living in the UK, means i have to find other ways of watching episodes. I completly forgot about it untill i was searching for bones episodes on the internet and found a great website so i decided to watch some l&O SVU
Great episode, some great acting by Mariska. My dad kept giving me weird looks when i kept gasping durin the episode. The last scene was very good, i so thought she was gunna say yes.

Also, what is a shipper or whatever. Ive heard of them but never new what they were Shipper is the term that fans in a fandom (read: the fans of a particular work, for example a TV show or a movie) use to describe what romantic pairing they support in that fandom. Example; I'm a C/O shipper for SVU, meaning I really like the idea of a Casey/Olivia relationship.

Wow! To say that episode was intense would be an understatement. Poor Olivia and all of those corrupt guards, and everything this episode had was just intense! Add to that I just found out this past week about Diane's departure, and she was not even there this past week. It was a tense week for SVU, and I felt so bad for Olivia. At least she got that creep rapist, but I did not like having to watch her have to go through that.

I think the sudden transition was a shock, in addition to the sheer lengths the writers went to on this one. It's very much unlike any episode we've had before.

Hi Trublu! Hey, girl! Thank you for the kind welcome back, it is great to hear from you. Thank you for the agreement on the shock level too. It was just very unexpected. Watching a girl near rape is always terrible, and with the extended periods with that crazy officer (AKA Serial Rapist) it was bad. Thankfully they got him before he could do his deed. Maybe it is just my affection for the female gender, but I hate to see things like that happen to girls.
