Has anyone heard about this? I think it happened a few years ago but someone was telling me about it today.. apparently a little girl got abducted when she was really young and was believed to have been dead, and by some freak coincident the mother was at a party 6 years later and she thought a girl there might be her daughter. She put gum in her hair and got a dna test and sure enough, it was. Pretty insane. Is there a book about this? anyone else familiar?

I've never heard this story before. Do you have a link or anything to the story so we can all read about this?

This is going to be the suject of a Lifetime Movie. I thought she had died in a fire. I rememberHearing about it. I will have to google it for more info. I can't remember all the details. here is a link to the 2004 article on CNN.com www.cnn.com/2004/US/Northeast/03/05/kidnapped.girl/

Wow, what a story. I'm mystified at how they concluded that she died in the fire without a body. I wonder how mother and daughter are doing now.

I'm hoping when Lifetime does the movie, they will say at the end, how they are doing now.

It really is an amazing story and I completely agree that it seems like the type of movie you would see in the theaters. Very compelling and almost a little dark for a TV movie.

Lifetime has done many movies that could be considered dark. I know that I have friends that laugh at me for watching this Network, but I feel they do a marvelous job on these kinds of stories.

Agreed. I think this one might be the best to date though. Good movies are all about good stories. Check out the trailer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl59ufRJFo8Also, just wanted to let everyone know that Little Girl Lost will be on the Lifetime Movie Network not the Lifetime channel.

Are you sure, detective? I don't get the movie network only regualr Lifetime. I wonder why they decided on that.
