*I started this with this exact story on another RPG board, but I wanna see how it goes here! So Charisma, if you could hold off posting for a couple posts, I would much appreciated it.*
Casey Novak was sleeping peacefully in her bed, blissfully ignorant of the world on a gorgeous Saturday morning. Arthur Branch had finally given her a day off. There had been a lull in the amount of SVU crimes lately, which meant that she could enjoy the day without any worries of interruptions.
That didn't mean, however, that someone couldn't interrupt her for non-work related matters.
"Ring, ring!"
Casey promptly sat upright in the bed, not even totally awake or aware of why she had woken. Pressing all the buttons on the alarm clock, she quickly realized that the infernal racket was not coming from the torture device, but from the telephone. She snatched it up at the last second before the machine turned on.
"Hello?"

"Hey Casey!!!"
Munch voice over the phone made Casey groan.
"We're facing the 2-7 in game of baseball. I know you play softball for the ADA league, but will you make an exception for the 1-6? We're a player short. The 2-7's got Fontana, Green, Curtis, McCoy, Fin's bunkie from Narcotics, and their boss."

"Well," Casey muttered, "since you've woken me up now, I don't really have much choice, do I. Where are you guys playing?"
It took Munch a minute to answer her question, since he was busy yelling to the rest of the team that he had "reeled her in."
"We're at the field by Central Park, you know the one with the pink bunny as the mascot?"
"Yeah," Casey mumbled, "I know the one. I'll see you guys in a few."
Hanging up the phone, Casey flopped back onto the pillows. Trust Munch to interupt her one day of peace. Getting up, she dragged herself into her bathroom to take a shower and get ready.

Munch, meanwhile, was getting things ready. The 2-7 gang was not there yet, but members of the 1-6 had been using the waiting time as practice. Elliot kept hitting homeruns which Olivia was cursing angrily at him and kept saying if he hit another one, it was his job to play Fido and go get the ball.
However, Munch and the rest of the gang would had been sleeping soundly in their beds if Elliot had not gotten drunk and told Fontana last night, who at the same bar the rest of the 1-6 gang was at, that he and his friends were better at baseball than him and his gang. The end result was everyone resisting the urge to give a good kick to Elliot in the nads as Fontana said proove it and Elliot did saying his squad would be there at the field.
So Munch dugged out his old jeans, t-shirt, and sweatshirt that morning. It was still cool outside, in the 50s, but he was still wondering if he could last the first inning. He was old after all. And his teammates were giving him weird looks as they had never seen him that kind of outfit before. He expected the samething from Casey.
"Oh well," Munch thought as he saw Elliot running to get the ball, "If worse comes to worse, then I'll accidentally throw a ball in Elliot's direction. That'll be his reminder next time if he decides to drag us into a mess like this again."

Charisma had heard about the game that Elliot had caused when he opened his mouth the while intoxicated and figured she would go down and show her support. Her Mother wasn't home and since she was home from school she had nothing better to do. She spotted Munch and ran over to him.
"Hey Munch," Charisma said, "I heard about the game and I thought I would stop by."

Charisma grinned.
"Yup. I couldn't not show support for my favorite detectives," Charisma told him.

"Good, then."
Munch looked over at El, who looked like he was cursing himself.
"Sounds like El was playing Fido again," he smirked.

"At least I'll get some entertainment out of this then," Casey chuckled, seeing Elliot as she walked toward the field. After getting ready and stopping by Dunkin Donuts to get something to wake herself up, she was finally ready to play some ball.
"Hi Charisma," Casey greeted the girl, and then turned to Munch. "So, how many we have?"

"The squad, Captain, and you," said Munch.
But Casey wasn't paying attention. She was looking at Munch's outfit and smirking.
"Just go ahead and get it over with," grumbled Munch, "The whole squad hasn't stopped laughing at me all day."
As if on cue, Fin started to laugh as he threw a ball to Cragen.
"See what I mean?"
Casey began laughing.

Charisma joined in on the laughing.
"I'm sure you guys will win," She told Casey and Munch.

Munch saw the 2-7 gang pull up in a car. Cragen waved everyone to the dugout where Munch was at.
"Sounds like the action is going to get started," said Munch as the rest of the 1-6 came in for a pep talk.

Charisma made her way over to the bleachers where she took a seat at the bottom. She sat directly behind the dug out of 1-6 so she could show her support.

Munch sat with everyone else in the dugout as Cragen began to explain what they were going to do. Fin gave Munch a baseball cap. Munch looked at him and sighed.

Casey and the rest of the 1-6 trotted out onto the field, Cragen slightly slower than the others. They were home team, so they tossed a ball around while they waited for Fontana to be ready.
"Ok, baaaaaaaatter up!" the umpire yelled, signaling the start of the softball game.
