I cannot resist. Best quotes ever:
Judge: [The other judge] is having emergency gall bladder surgery. Alex: OOOOOOooooohhhhhh...
Suspect: I should be in the hospital getting tested for rabies. Olivia: I seriously doubt you've given the dog rabies.
Tyler: You can't do this, I have rights! Alex: You can have a toothbrush.
Attorney: He's participating in a hunger strike. Alex: Yes, his plight is right up there with Gandhi.

You just saved me $10 bucks" Aside from the memorable lines (which were halarious), this episode was great, even that twist the judge threw in. But then it got weird at the end. That was really an odd moment where father and son unite - it was just...I wasn't really expecting at all A little creepy if you ask me

I actually very much liked this episode, which is the first time I can say that in quite a while. We got a great demonstration of the witty abilities that the writers apparently still possess, and an interesting case to go along with it. I wish they had delved a little more into Tyler's relationship with his fake!father, but they gave enough to make the plot flow along.
It was a great episode for Alex as well, assuming that this was her last one. They didn't address that, though, so I'm wondering how they will handle her next episode, as well as Kim's exit... or if they'll handle the latter at all. I wouldn't be surprised if they just tossed in a "Kim's staying in Washington" line to "cover" it.

I know I've read somewhere (or I could be going crazy) that Alex has a 'touching' scene with Benson and Co. explaing everything. I'm still waiting for that. At least give that chapter some sort of closer - let the poor woman move on.
But knowing how this show works, they'll problaby give a 2 second mention and that'd be it. Same with Kim's departure - Bing, Bang, Bong!
I really hope they don't brush it away like that, but I won't hold my breath for it.

I hated this. It was plain boring, and I was furious to see that there was absolutely no subtext between Alex and Olivia. *sigh*
I read some tweets from Neal Baer today, saying that they've been working on some new episodes that are really good, I was like: *facepalm and eyeroll*.

Whaat.... Was this really Alex's last episode? I liked the episode. It wasn't one of those 'all-action' episodes, but managed to keep itself interesting Oh, btw, you can't cause someone choke like that by folding close a nasal cannula...

I didn't like this episode either. I agree with Terry it was boring, but I was so happy to see Melinda..And I loved Tamara's hair especially in that first scene, otherwise this episode really didn't wow me at all.

I have one big issue with this episode: Alex. I think her return got rip off, especially by the writers/Neal Baer. Neal promised in the joint interview he did with Stephanie March that she and Judith Light would have a good scene in a March 31 episode (never happened), he also promised an emotional scene in Alex's return episode with her and the cast...instead we got a fluff emotional scene of Alex with Elliot and Olivia wondering why she didn't keep in touch and that was it. I was expecting more from it, especially Alex with Cragen, Munch, and Fin since she had a relationship with them too. Then on Neal's twitter, he said he was in the process of editing a touching 'farewell' scene between Alex and the cast...guess what? We never got that!!!! Alex didn't even said goodbye at the end of the episode. It was very well stated that she won't be in the finale. So at the moment, Neal is on my crap list with the well-earn LIAR tattooed on his forehead.

I'm hopeing (but not holding my breath) that Stephanie's contract is exstended until next season so they can get that story line in.

I liked the episode. The ending was quite a surprise which we have not seen in a while! I agree about Alex's return. Not that I don't want to see her but what was the point really?

Those were my favorite lines and I laughed out loud at the tv and hit rewind just to make sure I heard them right. So funny! I really wish Alex would stay. I love her.
