god this is terrible! I used to be a huge fan of him back in the day, like obessed. geez...but I heard he's had alot of problems too with his health though I was unware as I understood that he was addicted to painkillers too at one time or another it's one I read on one of the news reports. I'm just shocked at the moment.

Yes, it most certainly is . When my mom first heard the news about Michael Jackson, she looked right at me and said, "I don't know whether to be sick or cry. This is so sad..." I'm not a big huge fan, but I love the stuff he did with his brothers. He revolutionized music and broke barriers. He brought so many people together by his voice and his music. We lost two great legands

Yeah I didn't believe it at first either actually my mom came into my room and ask me "did Michael Jackspn Die"? and I'm like " I don't know...I heard something about cardic arrest" and she's like "whoa" and so I got up from my bed and went to check and there is it was on the screen. and I was whoa...so yeah I'm pretty shocked, so unexpected really and I know I'm probably not the only one whose shocked by it...a lot of the people he worked with are shocked too and devesated...for example Elizabeth Taylor who I'd totally forgotten about.

I've noticed that when ever one of his songs is being played, there seems to be a sence of...peace, I guess. No one cared if you black or white, gay or straight , rich or poor - we all were united somehow by this one man. No one else has ever and propbably never will, be able to do that but Michael.
I think he should be remebered for that rather then the millions he had or the troubled past he's had. I think we should remember him as the man that united an entire world with his music.
I do hope that he found a sense of peace before he past. That was something that has eluded him for so long. I hope he is in a place where nothing can hurt him anymore - not the tabloids, not the rumors. He deserves that much at least. He deserves that peace.
I know, that was really corny, but I was up all night thinking about his life and career. He had everything but yet he still didn't have peace.

Exactly what I've saying and thinking..he should be remembered for his music and for being an icon in the music world and for the other musical talents that are out and who Michael influenced in his career, not for his troubled past and the bad things and all the tabiold crap. I mean come he was a legand no matter what you think or thought of him, that's never going to change. And I've been having my own little Michael tribute on the computer here since I have a lot of his songs on my computer and I've been listening to him and some songs that I don't have on youtube and I definitely feel peace and I'm just kinda moving along to the music.

What I'm more worried about are his three children. Apperently Michael didn't have a will (or at least current one) that anyone knew of. I'm praying that custody for his kids don't turn into a circus. God knows that they don't need any more upheavel in their lives.

Yeah that's I was wondering about too are his kids...I believe that I read his kids for right now are being cared for by a nanny or nannies however you want to put it and that they are with their grandmother, Michael's mother and are doing fine, so I guess we'll see in the coming weeks where they'll be going or whatnot with the kids.

And so the battle begins. I'm praying those involved will indeed do what's best for the children. My parents divorced when I was a kid and it really put me through the ringer. I don't want that to happen to those kids.

I agree with you..I don't want his children to be put through anymore pain than they've already been through.

OMG I know I loved him as well and it seems everyone is still in shock even after 2 days even more his family which is of course understandable, but the fans are just shocked as well..everyone's uniting in his music right now and just remmebering him for the music and that's what it should be like. I'm definitely still in shock.
