Yes, me neither! It's been a while since they've shown a new ep... personally i am really mad that NBC decided to show that Amber Frey special tonight instead. I think its really creepy that she's writing a book. Plus, the trial's over. He's guilty. Until sentencing, this thing is on hold. Theres nothing more to say about it.

Yeah I didn't like that either. I mean how can she write a book how much of an impact could she have made on such a horrible event.

Here is yet another strong SVU ep, with the wrongful accusations (and their consequences) convincingly presented. You get to understand why an assault victim would accuse an innocent person. Holly is well played by Jennette McCurdy, and Chris Meloni has never been better at portraying Elliot's inner torment.

I thought this was a pretty good episode. Heck, any episode would have been nice after the little vacation we had there!
I agree, Jenette McCurdy was excellent as Holly. I have a feeling ive seen her somewhere before. But she was very good, provided an interesting emotional side to her character.
And as you mentioned Mariskafan, this was another episode with false accusations. It does make the episode a little more interesting. I have to say though, if the keep doing eps with such huge false accusations (i mean, there are some false facts in every case) it will get a little boring. We also need some episodes where they maybe cant find the perp right away, or they find them but have a hard time prosecuting.
I was a little surprised to see Mary Stuart Masterson guest star again. (And heads up, she also guest stars in the next episode too) However, i believe B.D. Wong is currently shooting a movie, so that may explain his absense. She does bring a little something different to the case. IMO, woman have different perspectives on some things. But, i was a little confused that they seemed to drop the tension between her and Olivia. They seemed to get along a lot better without any explaination for us.
The case itself i thought was a little weak. They had Holly's ID, but not much evidence against him. The ending too seemed a little out of place, that it was just this random guy from the school. There wasnt even really a connection. If they had connected him a little more to Holly it might have made more sense.
