P.S. everytime Lynda Carter is on screen I'm going to be like "it's wonder woman!!! heheheh." My poor family is going to get so annoyed with me!

Good evening everyone, Hello, this is the Byrdman coming at you tonight. I hope that everyone is doing well, and that life is rocking and rolling for you all as well! I'm so sorry that I have not been around the board as much this week. Oh, I have been a busy boy! I have not even gotten to see this ep yet! I just saw the beginning of it, and I will post my further thoughts on it once I have seen it. Take care, and please have a great night, everyone!

I've been meaning to post my thoughts, but I kept getting delayed. So, awesome episode for Mariska/Olivia. It was obvious that Olivia was emotionally attatched to this case, moreso even than she usually is. She lives to help the victims; it must have been a huge blow to be turned on by the "victim." Then, to be outsmarted and conned by the "victim." And all in one night. Olivia was extremely pissed off... I believe her choice of words was "evil b****" I have to hand it to April and her mother, they had a very elaborate scheme going there. It fooled everybody. And the way Munch and fin reacted when Warner described that scene... just some SVU originall-ness for you. It was a pretty good Casey episode too, you have to admit that she had to make some pretty emotionally-charged decisions too. She didnt want to give April that deal, but if she didn't she knew that it could be the baby's life. And again with the arguing with Olivia, that seems to be becoming a more frequent occurance. Maybe they'll take it somewhere? (Of course, this is leaving the door wide open for us C/O shippers ) Any other thoughts on this ep? I only saw bits and pieces of the L&O segment (darn homework again).

Hey all! I'm finally back and able to comment on this ep!
Anyway, I loved this episode because (like Trublu said) it had amazing performances by Mariska and Diane. I mean, I kinda knew what was coming from reading all the spoilers, but the extreme lack of emotion and selfishness by April and her mother totally took me off-guard! I was almost as pissed as Olivia!!
Did anyone else watch the crossover episode which featured Ice-T and Mariska? I liked it which surprised me cuz I normally do not find the original L&O very interesting. When Olivia briefed the other dectectives about April and said something like "She's got a tremendous IQ, but good luck trying to find a heartbeat in this one!" LOL! that is so true! It freaked me out how "dead-inside" April appeared to be. (By the way, I really like McCoy's new ADA. Is she new this season?)
Oh...and did any one else catch who one of April's rape victims was on the SVU episode? BOBBY FLAY! Stephanie March's husband! LMAO! I found that amusing. ;D

When I taped it, I'm not really a big fan of SVU my sis Leanna got me watching a little of it. The mother daughter con team was hot. Olivia made my sort of laugh when she said this: April: "Are you mad?" Olivia: :No I'm not mad...Just a little disappointed."
The look on her face is incredible. I can't wait for 911 on Tuesday. That should be hot.

Annie Parisse joined the cast last season, after Elizabeth Rohm's last episode (15.13, "Ain't No Love"). Honestly, I pretty much lost most of my interest in the original L&O after Rohm left.
And Yes. We can now add "act" to the list of things Bobby Flay can't do. That's all I'll say at the risk of breaking my own rules about flaming.

Good evening everyone, Hello, this is the Byrdman just getting in touch tonight. I hope that everyone is doing well, and that you all are rocking and rolling as I am! Well, I saw this ep last night, and needless to say, I was surprised. I would have never guessed that April was playing anyone at the beginning, and she (and her mother) turned out to be as cold as ice! Those two are evil girls. I am so glad that they got the baby back in time, but gosh, April went free. That's bad. Goodness, I forgot to tape the L & O crossover as well. If someone could fill me in on how the case finished up, it would be much appreciated. Thanks. April's method for getting sperm was evil too. Hearing about it, (and being a guy) it just sent shivers up my spine! Like Ice-T said "Who thinks this stuff up?" I did like that Casey and Munch were back this week. Also, that Casey was in it so much as well! Also, I noticed that April's dad is Lieutenant Bogomil from "Beverly Hills Cop I and II." I don't know if anyone has seen those before. Thanks for your attention, and take care tonight, everyone!

I got an episode synopsis from TVTome:
When the body of Patrick Sullivan is found with one of Olivia Benson's business cards in his pocket, Green and Fontana call on SVU to help them with their case. Although not initially clear, the detectives soon realise that Patrick Sullivan is connected to Lorraine Dillon and April Troost, career criminals that Benson had previously been unable to catch. Lorraine confesses to the crime and claims she did it to protect her daughter, but when April ends up on the stand she tells a different story, and McCoy and Benson disagree on which of the two is telling the truth.
If anyone wants to elaborate on that, I havent gotten around to watching the episode again. I do believe they got both April and her mother though... on what charges, I have no idea.

I watched the cross-over L&O and they did get both April and her mother on seperate charges. The mother was convicted of killing Patrick Sullivan. It turns out that April was pregnant when she was 14 and went to some sort of place where they gave her options, out near Glens Falls. But, when the baby was born it had a physical deformity and she buried it "alive" in a garbage bag and towel. While there she had the facitlities cook fall in love with her, but robbed him blind afterwards. The cook told the cops what happened and Olivia interrogated her. Whew. Done now

Dear novakrulez, Good day to you! How are you today? Thank you so much for providing this recap so thoroughly. It's great to hear that they nailed both of those evil girls (April and her mom), and thanks so much for filling us in, novakrulez. Take care, and please have a great day and a rocking weekend!

I also lost my interest when Rohm left. I only watch CI and SVU now.
