Yeah I think you're right. I blame Kathy too in away. Cause in real life when ya marry someone you marry their profession too. She knew what she was getting So it's a 50/50 blame. It was Olivia that really fueled that separation. Poor woman is so ignorant. You can't have relationships with your partners!!! So true Munchkin. relationships at work destroy thing. I have seen it in real life

I wasnt to crazy about last nights ep. I want Liv back. It wasn't the same with out her. (Parton my french lol) but, what the hell was with Casey's like 3 second appearance. I WANT MORE CASEY. Some Fin and Much humor would be nice to too. Captain Gregan: "people are wierd" ( ha ha I love it) As for El not signing the papers he's had alot do deal with. I think Kathy was Jealous that El and Liv have such a good relationship. (or had i'm not sure) Elliot just didn't want to bring his job home. You should never mix the two. Especially in what he does. Olivia understands him better than anyone and vice a versa. They can talk about things that El and Kathy cant because she doesn't understand and Elliot doesn't want her to. It's bad enough he has to see it he doesn't want his family too go through what he does after a case. Liv understands cuz she's going through it too. Side by side with El.

I think Elliot didn't sign the papers because he loves Kathy. Plain and simple the divorce was her idea not his. I don't feel Kathy was jealous as there was never anything improper about El and Liv. I think Kathy just wanted El to talk. No about police work but about anything. But then Kathy was married to a cop. she had to know what she was getting. Those 2 belong together

This episode wasn't needed. Boring... Now since when has SVU been boring? I mean last year, though El-centric, had plenty of action, even the scratch scene from Fault.

As far as reviews (not editorials, reviews) go, I'm trying to learn to write unbiased thoughts on each episode. I rarely have enough time anymore to write a full-blown editorial review, so I'm afraid all you'll read from me is very brief thoughts. Not as fun, but it's okay.
I really like a good debate. If there's a controversy or issue, I enjoy talking about it. So, naturally, I really liked the controversy within the episode regarding the relationship between the highschool girl and the thirty year old man.
However, the SVU writing is hit-and-miss, and this one was a miss. There wasn't anything to hold attention in the episode. There was too much regular dialogue, with no comic relief or dramatic tension. The scene with Elliot and Kathy proved completely irrelevant. It wasn't needed, and it didn't follow the storyline that viewers were supposed to be focusing on; no information was presented that the viewers needed in order to understand what was going on. A much wiser decision would have been cutting the scene out of the episode altogether.

A couple things: 1. Review here.2. According to Zap2It, SVU nabbed the 10 PM timeslot last night, but NBC came in fourth for the night overall, and third in the all important 18-49 demographic. 3. I liked the case focus of the episode, but the potential for character involvement that wasn't realized bugged me. With Olivia gone, this would have been the perfect opportunity for Munch and Fin before Tornado Beck arrived. 4. I can't believe they counted this as one of the six episodes for Beck/ Neilsen. Love your review as always Trublu and yours too Arandomtuesday. I like the nickname, Tornado Beck. BLOW THE UNSTABLER AWAY!!! ;D

Both Trublu and arandomtuesday summed things up well ;D Sing the italicized parts to the tune of the Here Comes The Easter Rabbit song: Here comes Tornado Beck, HOORAY!!! She'll blow Unstabler, AWAY!!! (not that kind of blow) And when he's gone, things will be good again, And then Beck can go away!!!Then Munch and Fin can take over!!! Bwa ha ha ha ha ha!!!

I thought this episode was okay. The storyline was interesting. But of course what I loved the most was the amount of screentime that Fin got. Okay, so when I heard that Liv was leaving for a few episodes I thought okay now here's an opportunity for Fin and Munch to have a lot more screentime. But then Dani Beck showed up and most of the eppys revolved around her. ARG!!! With Liv gone for awhile why couldn't the show just revolve around the three remaining detectives? Season 8 would be so much better.

I wonder if Fin and Munch will be seen at all ....BTW I love you avatar and signature. great pix of the Man...FIN
