I agree with you guys. I'm happy that Oliva's back and all but Munch and Fin do get less screen time. For now, I belive, they're going to be shown less because Olivia just came back, they want to focus on her for a while. Pitty, Much and Fin are exelent detectives that we just see too little of. But, what are we gonna do? Right. More Munch and Fin and E/O FOREVER!!! ~

I love that last little bit of dialogue between Olivia and Elliot. It was cute .

Oh, rats. Just when you think Munch and Fin have a chance...the writers forget they exist. I did notice that Cage had more of the pair than as per usual, and almost none of Munch and absoloutley no Fin in this episode. Someone should remind the writers that there are more than two detectives in the squad. I have been threatening to go to NYC to remind them. Maybe I should actually go

The show has varied alot from the way it was for the first 6 seasons. Season 7 was a dissapointment to me. Now Season 8 shall be known forever as The Year Of the Maternity Leave. I shudder to think what will come next

Let's just hope the Second Year of the Maternity Leave isn't too close by, no?
I mean, as happy as I am for Mariska Hargitay, let's not plan on leaving again anytime soon, okay? I got season two on DVD a while back, and I noticed that there was a whole lot more of Munch and Fin back then. I loved Manhunt...and Legacy...and this one called Countdown. Why can't things go back to being like that?

We love Munch! And we're mad that we're not getting enough of him or Fin this season. Sure, he's no hunk, but he's awesome! The show wouldn't be the same if it weren't for Munch. We love him dearly!

Yeah, he may not be a hunk but Munch is the main reason many people watched SVU when it premiered in 1999. Richard Belzer's portrayal of Det. Munch on the show Homicide was super. When that show ended and Belzer brought the Munch character to SVU's 1st year, many people watched because of HIM

That 2nd season introduced Alex Cabot as the ADA and the show really took off. 4 detective-1 captain-and 1 damn good ADA= some of the best TV ever seen. I don't know if it will ever return to the original format but I can hope

I think overall, season two is my favorite, but I haven't seen seasons one, three, or four yet, so maybe it's too early for an opinion. But out of the seasons I have seen, I like season two the best. You're right, Finaddict. It worked better simply because of the format. Ah, here's to hoping...

I think Wolf needs to remember that SVU wasn't broken yet he tried to "fix" it anyways

SVU was fine just the way it was, thanks Mr. Wolf. There was no need to go about "fixing it". This resulted in the show's four-character dynamic turn into a two-character centered one, and I didn't like it. I love that philosophy; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
