Yeah thats true Trublu..she didnt see him much..but thats the nature of his(Elliot's business)..But In Ice-T's book the Ice Opinion(yes all roads for me lead back to Ice/Fin), he writes an excellent chapter on relationships..In this he mentions that a person needs to know "who they have gone into business with" true words..Kathy should have know what a policemans life would be like..I know this is only a TV Show but it borrows from real life..Sometimes to make a living and support 4 kids, someone has to sacrifice..does that make sense to anyone else That totally makes sense to me too Finaddict!! I mean first of all, you're right she knew what she was getting into when marrying Elliot (first Marine than policeman), you've got to be aware of the necessary abnegation needed in those jobs!! Second...come on...please...why do we always have the "divorced because my wife/husband couldn't handle it" cop picture!! Before Elliot and Kathy talked about divorce, I was like ..."ok that's nice, I like seeing a cop that is in a stable family environment"...god was I dumb to think they would make it last!! I'm fed up with protayals of broken, depressed and devastated cops and families on the tv screen...I think they should think more about promoting stable families images than the opposite...what about kids growing up constantly brain washed with the idea that couples/love never last...they don't learn to fight anymore but instead give up on the most precious things because it becomes tough! Who said life and human relationships were easy...no one! but it doesn't mean you should just give up like that without fighting!! Sorry I got a little carried away here  ...but you get my point!

Seems all lot of people are E/O people. They want to see them together. Then I see J/O rank in second, then I see Fin...
Hey!!! :swoon:
I think I got it!!! :yahoo:
You know how Mariska's hubby plays that defense lawyer on SVU? Why does't Benson date him? It would be kinda cool that she's dating him on the show, but is married in real life to him. :grinbounce:

Its never good to have too many suds in a show. We need just the right proportions so that we get nice bubbles and we aren't stuck with any clumpy soap.

I agree with you 100% Hotcop in this we are on the same page..Stability in a marriage is possible even if the man is a cop or travels or is in the Armed Forces..someone has to sacrifice and sometimes everyone has to sacrifice for the sake of the children..bring back Kathy

Yes you're 100% right Finaddict let's bring Kathy back....the kids need their parents together!! It's already hard enough for them to have a dad in a dangerous job....they don't need to be in this tearing position!

Although I would love nothing more than to see Olivia and Elliott end up together I doubt it will ever happen. But I guess it's not up to us. Either way I love this show with or without them being "together".
