The teachers at my school won't let us use Wikipedia for anything. But I love the article on Olivia...that's cool.

The debate is whether it's a good source, since theoreticaly anyone can edit it.

Exactly. I've read articles with really weird edits in them.

yeah...i've noticed that. all you have to do is hit edit this page...but, if some find and reports bad info it is removed...you kind of have to use your better judgement along with a few other realiable sources to figure out wheter what you found is good or not...wow. we are a smidge off-topic. lol.

ok, i'm gonna continue to be off topic for a sec... my teachers won't let us use it, either. in fact, if we do use it any information we get from there is automatically considered false and we basically fail the paper. so the only things i go on there for are fun-related things...
...much like the mariska page =) ok back on topic! haha

^Me too. I have this HUGE project in reading, and the teachers told us that we can't use wiki or we will fail, which would mean failing all of reading.

Exactly. I've read articles with really weird edits in them. On Jorja Fox's page there was a phrase saying that Jorja Fox was gay and she'd been living with CSI:NY star Melina Kanakaredes for a year or something. It was eraised from the page an hour later i checked it next time. So it's a good proof that anyone can say anything they like. But also it proved that since thousands of people read wikipedia articles every day, they can't be total bs. Thankfully Mariska Hargitay's page hasn't got any crazy edits yet. Like saying that she's a manic violent psyco who eats living bats or something.

I think the portrait of Olivia is very sweet on wikipedia. I love the bit about her and Elliot.
