Bum, Bum, Bum, Bum. Bum, Bum, Bum, Bum, Bum... This sounds more nerve wreaking then the other "rumors"/news I've heard and read from fans. But sounds better. And that includes what is said in TVGuide this week!!

While last season it was the highly wired Meloni who loses it all the time, in season seven - on air now - it's Benson's turn. "He gets it back together and then I start to unravel," she says. Benson, it seems like Hargitay, wants to be a mother. When did exactly she start to unravel? 'Cause I didn't notice anything in her behaviour which can be considered as the prelude of an impending crisis. And Stabler "gets it back together"

*In the Croc Files dude voice* Towards the end of season 7, the episode before the season finale, we finally see Stabler as he should be... UNDER CONTROL AND NOT RAVING AND RANTING ALL OVER THE PLACE. Crikey mon! The Elliot Stabler is now at peace with the enviroment. As for Benson, well...something is definately going happen while she is gone. I mean, no writer could resist a catfight. What do I mean by catfight? El love triangle. Beck works with Stabler in 6 episodes, Benson sees how abnormally well they're working together, and vuala!!! Instant unraveling!!! She's jealous that Stabler is enjoying working with another female co-worker instead of her. If they keep this up, Season 9 should have a lot of Munch episodes, Season 10 with Fin, Season 11 with Cragen, Season 12 with Casey, Season 13 with Huang, Season 14 with Warner, and maybe a possible Season 15 with the Computer Crimes Techy Dude AKA Morales. Then we repeat the pattern again. Does anyone else, besides me, find that pattern kinda distrubing? Shouldn't we be having an equal amount of each of the characters during one season and not making it one-sided?

I don't think I can stand another "Beautiful"-spin-off. And for the (in)famous pattern you were talking about I have to agree: my guess is we won't see episode like Countdown anytime soon. As a Benson fan, though, I have to confess I'm totally looking toward episodes like Intoxicated or 911 or Wrath. Her mother is her hauting memory of a life she feels like a sin and her father is her obsession; he's nowhere yet everywhere, in every rapist and child abuser she chases. I think it's time for a closure for Benson.

Alas, you might be right. Season 15 or 16 might be SVU Squad working together based episodes with equal amounts of time for each character. We have to wait until Season 15 or 16 to see the Squad working together? I agree and, if my prediction does come true, Benson won't anywhere close to the point of closure. It's her time for closure, couldn't they make the whole season about that?

It's her time for closure, couldn't they make the whole season about that? ... you're making fun of me... A whole Benson-centered season? I told you, I'm looking forward it! After 2 Stabler-centered seasons I need some Olivia-angst!

If so, then why do they have all those other people listed in the opening credits? The seasons should never be centered just around one person, it should be centered around the squad and how they work, together.
