www.tvguide.com/News/Ask-Matt-Emmys-1020364.aspxQuestion: Please tell me Sharon Stone is gone and out of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She was horrid! Any chance Stephanie March will come back? Or how about rotating March and Diane Neal? Or are there other names floating out there for the D.A. position? — Kevin Matt Roush: Rest easy. She's history. I asked our reporter who keeps track of this show about the new ADA for next season, and as of this moment, no one has been announced. I like your idea of the revolving door, though. March has come back from time to time, and she's always welcome.

I would love to see Alex return permanently but I don't see that happening.

Exclusive: Maria Bello Signs On to SVUwww.tvguide.com/News/Maria-Bello-SVU-1020700.aspxJul 19, 2010 01:14 ET by Mickey O'Connor Maria Bello has signed on to appear on Law & Order: SVU, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The Golden Globe- and SAG-nominated actress (A History of Violence, The Cooler) will appear in two episodes, playing a woman with a secret past that Detective Benson is investigating, according to a source close to the production. It's also a reunion of sorts for Bello and SVU executive producer Neal Baer, who worked together on ER. Her episodes have not been scheduled. Some of you may remember that Mariska appeared on ER when Maria was also on and they became good friends.

I think Maria Bello is from ER but I only know her from her movie, Secret Window, with Johnny Depp. She's also one of Mariska's best friends.

www.tvguide.com/News/Hewitt-Guest-SVU-1021225.aspxKeck's Exclusives: Jennifer Love Hewitt to Guest on Law & Order: SVU
Jul 30, 2010 04:05 PM ET by William Keck After whispering to ghosts and playing a masseuse in a summer TV movie, Jennifer Love Hewitt is taking on the most serious role of her career. "In our third hour, airing September 29, Jennifer will be playing a woman named Vicki who has been raped multiple times and is afraid to leave her house," Law & Order: SVU executive producer Neal Baer tells me exclusively. "One of the reasons we wanted to do this episode is because it addresses Mariska Hargitay's passion for rape kits, which can help gather evidence to convict the rapists. But for some reason these kits have been sitting around unopened in cities all over the country. Mariska, who has brought attention to the value of rape kits through her Joyful Heart Foundation, will also be shooting scenes in Los Angeles for this same episode. Since this will be the lead in to Law and Order: Los Angeles' premiere, it seems likely that Mariska's Olivia will be interacting with the new franchise's cast to help lead viewers into Dick Wolf's latest franchise. No comment from Baer on that.

Ugh I can't stand Jennifer Love Hewitt. I used to like her in I Know What You Did Last Summer movies but after her going through boyfriends every time I blink I had enough with that. I'm not happy about this "special" guest shot. Actually I'm sick with all these guest stars! Hire unknowns! Like they did back in the day. The only Special Guest Stars I will be happy to allow are Dick Van d**e, Barbara Eden, Sarah Brown, Steve Burton, and James Franco. (Sarah is from The Bold and the Beautiful and Steve Burton is from General Hospital).

Keck's Exclusives: Marcia Gay Harden Returns to SVUwww.tvguide.com/News/SVU-Marcia-Gay-Harden-1021729.aspxAug 11, 2010 11:19 AM ET by William Keck Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden, who received a 2007 Emmy Award nomination for her guest appearance as Federal Agent Dana Lewis on NBC's Law & Order: SVU, is making a return visit to the mean Manhattan streets patrolled by Detectives Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Benson (Mariska Hargitay). Last seen in the eighth season premiere, Dana will return in the eighth episode of SVU's upcoming 12th season. Dana, fans may recall, debuted in 2005 under her alias, Star Morrison, in a disturbing case involving a white supremacist group and murdered schoolchildren. Law & Order: SVU's new season premieres Sept. 22 at 9/8c.

Christine Lahti Returns to Law & Order: SVU www.tvguide.com/News/Christine-Lahti-SVU-1022196.aspxAug 26, 2010 11:08 AM ET by Ileane Rudolph An Oscar-nominated actress will return to Law & Order: SVU this season — but don't get nervous, it's not Sharon Stone. It's Christine Lahti, reappearing as overbearing ADA Sonya Paxton sent by the DA's office to ride herd on the SVU team. A nasty alcoholic, she butted heads with Stabler (Chris Meloni) and was eventually forced to enter rehab. Paxton reappeared in a later episode only to warn Alexandra Cabot (Stephanie March) not to trust the cops. She'll return in this season's ninth episode on a case and is supposedly all cleaned up. "She has a huge scene where she faces off with Stabler," SVU's executive producer Neal Baer tells TV Guide Magazine exclusively. Go Team Stabler!

Keck's Exclusives: Law & Order: SVU Invades LO:LA
Sept. 5th, 2010 by William Keck www.tvguide.com/News/Kecks-Exclusives-Law-1022623.aspxCrossover alert! In Law & Order: SVU's September 29 episode, Mariska Hargitay's Det. Olivia Benson leaves New York for Los Angeles, where she joins forces with Skeet Ulrich's Det. Rex Winters—the central character in the new Law & Order: Los Angeles (which debuts that night at 10/9c, on NBC). It's an issue close to Mariska's heart that brings Benson to L.A.: a case about a rape survivor (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt) who, several years earlier, submitted to an invasive exam for a rape evidence collection kit that was ignored by police. The episode took shape when a real rape survivor shared a similar scandal at a fund-raiser for Mariska's Joyful Heart Foundation, which supports survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. "I'm so honored that the SVU writers see the value in telling this story," says Mariska. "And it's very cool how they're weaving our two shows together." With her contract expiring at the end of the season, Mariska says she's open to negotiations, as is costar Chris Meloni, who says, "We'll all have a chitchat and see what's best." But Mariska would also welcome relocating Benson to LO:LA. "I'm born and raised in L.A., so I'm definitely up for doing more," she says. "I go where the work is. My L.A. friends all want me to be on LO:LA." That includes new pal Skeet. "We could use an experienced detective," he says. "That would be fantastic!" Watch out, Stabler!

I hate to talk about her leaving SVU but if she went to LA it would insure that show to be a hit.
