{name:fin#|#picture:2}**UPSTAIRS**
While the hub bub continued downstairs, Fin and Luci chatted guietly upstairs.
"Yeah, I have thought of it. Fin replied softly. "I know she would never go willingly. I know she resents us and I had hoped we could resolve this. I can't let her manipulate us. I know the loss of the twins was devastating to both of us. Katie is reverting back to old coping patterns. I wish she would open up to you. You saw your man murdered before your own eyes and suffered your unborn child's death due to gunshots from the same mad man. Coping with this is something she could learn from you."

{name:Luci#|#picture:43}Luci smiled a little. "But she's not exactly my biggest fan. She's mad, and blames me for her life changing, and moving away from where the twins were. I remember how hard it was leaving the apartment I had with my husband. There were so many memories, but no chance of new memories." She paused as she thought. "She's underage, so you can put her there without her going willingly. She'll be furious, but I think it might be best for her."

{name:fin#|#picture:2}Fin looked Luci straight in the eye.
"Tell me, Luci, could you do it to Rosita? I always know what to do, so everyone says. I'm always cool, I say that myself." Fin spoke with raw emotion.
"How do I do that to my child, tell me and tell me if you could do it to yours."

{name:Luci#|#picture:43}Luci frowned and thought. She finally spoke. "It's a tough call. It would hurt and I would miss her more every moment, but I'd send her. If it were my daughter and she needed the help Katie needs, then I would stop at nothing to get her the help she needs. I know a rehab that will help her. I doubt she'd ever admit it, but she needs us to help her. She deserves to be a regular teenager."

{name:Kate#|#picture:32}Kate smiled as she saw her daughter squeal with laughter. She shrugged and said, "Can I talk to you?"

{name:Jean#|#picture:19}Jean nodded, as she watched Abby play with whatever random toy she seemed to have found, before looking over at Katie.
"'Course ya can. What about?" She asked, as she watched her carefully.

{name:Elliot#|#picture:10}Elliot put an arm around Augusta, and pulled her slightly closer to him with a smile.
"I could. But that would mean moving, and I'm far too lazy to move!" He said, grinning as he kissed her lightly.
"Besides, i could help with this weirdness." He said, grinning like a child and gesturing to the things that were around him.

{name:Kate#|#picture:32}Katie said, "My twins. After I found out I was pregnant with them, you told me about your baby. How it was conceived and later you lost it. How do you deal with something like that? My babies were murdered. Everyone expects me to just move on with my life, but how do I do that?"

{name:Jean#|#picture:19}Jean looked over at her, and smiled sadly.
"It's hard. And for a while, you don't, you can't, move on. You sit there with all these questions, these 'what if's', and it hurts so much, lke you don't want to move on. But you do. Eventually you start to feel happy, to start to laugh at things again. The pain never goes away, never hurts any less. But it dulls, eventually." She looked out over the yard, watching Abby play, before looking back at Katie.
"I can't give you any definent answers, because I don't know how you deal with it. I only really felt that the pain had dulled when I came down here, and started picking my life up. You start going through things, almost on autopilot, intill ya realise that things are making you laugh again, making you smile, making you mad. It's a waiting game. You try everything to get the pain to stop, and it feels like nothing does." She stopped then, and looked down at the ground, befor elooking up yet again.
"I know that doesn't really help. And I'd give anything to tell you that this is what you do."

{name:Katie#|#picture:32}Katie nodded. "Thanks Jean." She took a swig from the beer in her hand.

{name:Jean#|#picture:19}"The drinking help?" She asked automatically, nodding towards the beer bottle. Of course it was only then that her brain processed the saying, and she bit her lip.
"That came out wrong." She said, feeling like an idiot, and hoping Katie wouldn't tear her a new one for assuming she was drinking.

{name:Jean#|#picture:19}"Not so Jean-a-fied, not so blunt. So so accusing." She said, chewing on her lip.
"Basically, flip it over, make it sound like it's complete opposite, and that's how I was trying to put it." She said, mentally kicking herself. She was, for one, far too blunt for certain things. Like, for instance, subtle.

{name:Katie#|#picture:32}Katie said, "Well, the drinking helps me forget. So I'll drink and you won't say a god damn thing, will you?" She knew she wouldn't say a word. She was too loyal and too afraid of losing loved ones to say anything to her father. She took another swig.
