Well, it looks like the Celtics & Lakers weren't ready. The Celtics just came off a tough series and the Lakers probably had too much time off. On a happier note: Congrats to Lebron James for winning the MVP Award! Magic 95, Celtics 90Rockets 100, Lakers 92

The game last night was sad. They were down by almost 30 points at one point in the game. To watch them come back was amazing, but they shouldn't have been down by that much in the first place.
Personally, I have no idea what Paul Pierce is doing, I have yet to figure that out. He keeps turning over the ball going for the "shot" which somehow keeps going down instead of up.

The long layoff did not hurt the Cavs at all. They crushed the Hawks 99-72. Nuggets beat the Mavericks 117-105. They are now up 2-0.

Celts are scaring me a little. We had a not so good game 1, then an awesome game two, then we were crushed yesterday. They need to be able to string more than one win together in a row if they want to be able to win this series, or anything else for that matter. The loss of Garnett seems to be taking its toll, and the silly aggressive nonsense fouls? What do we need that for?

Meanwhile the Cavs keep rolling along. The Rockets are now without Yao Ming who fractured his ankle in game 3. The Nuggets are now up 3-0 on the Mavericks after yesterdays last second 3 pointer by Carmello Anthony.
Nuggets 106, Mavericks 105 Cavaliers 97, Hawks 82

Cavs are doing awesome, I'll bet right now that they'll be one of 2 in the finals.
Celts are truckin along, leading by 5 with 747 left in the 4th... but we have a lot on the bench with 5 fouls, and a lot of calls are not going our way. But they still have the energy, so I just hope they can keep it up!
