Overall, an interesting episode, but lacking. I sort of felt that the plot was a bit weak. Shouldn't they have dropped the investigation after they realized that the blood on the dead boy's pants came from his leg? That was a job for ... Homicide. They only realized a long while later that the girl was not a minor, and had committed satuatory rape. i thought that too! i think that maybe the S&M mask that the boy was wearing made them think it was a sex crime? or maybe the mask plus the kid being underage made them suspicious? i don't know, there have been so many cases that should be handed over to homicide that it's ridiculous at point!

Hm...good point. I didn't consider the S&M factor, there. I dunno if something like that between minors falls under SVU, but I guess I'd forgotten about that. But again, as soon as they saw the video, they would have realized that it was not in fact S&M, but a YouTube idea gone bad. You're right, this season has been full of cases that do not belong in the SVU archives, but in Homicide's archives. If I could go back and count how many cases this year were actually sex crimes, I bet the number would be lower than usual.

[limegreen]$.02[/limegreen]I think I'm going to have mixed feelings next week... it's going to be the beginning of a new era (last character that was added to the show was Casey in 2004) and its going to be the end of a rocky season. Pretend wasn't on my favorites list, but it wasn't on my worst list, either.

As always I love your reviews, Trublu. I have relied on everyone else's great reviews this week. As for the season finale, I don't know what to think. This season is the worst ever IMO We agree again!

This season is the worst ever IMO We agree again! This year has just not made sense much of the time, IMO. It's not just the absence of Fin, since I watched the show before Ice-T ever joined it. He was just icing on a very delicious cake. It's just everything, I quess
