I think most of us thought there was something wrong with Cooper, Rambabe..What it was came as a most unpleasant surprise to me. I'm still shocked at the ending. Lovesmelindawarner, Your new avatar is awesome. It captures the moment so well. Terry, I agree with you, I found a tear in the corner of my eye also. Finaddict, I'm so glad you love my new avatar I just made it a little while ago along with a couple of avatars and a banner all from the episode so if and when you can please check them out it's all in the Artwork section in my SVU related thread.

I really enjoyed this episode, it has been a while it seems since I have been able to say "wow" during an episode. I did think that there were a couple of moments that were a little out of character for both Melinda and Liv, but it is nice to see the writers exploring different sides to their characters. I liked it when Melinda got in FBI agents face, that was awesome!

I think everyone loved that Melinda scene (the one where she snapped at Lauren)

You guys are definitely right on the money. There were little clues that something wasn't right dropped from the beginning of the episode. Just the way Cooper acted wasn't quite right given the circumstances. And her mentor's suicide was definitely pointed out enough times so that there was definitely connection between his final state of mind and hers. I agree that the final scene was very powerful, with Cooper's suicide and Olivia's reaction.
The only thing that I took issue with was what she did after; she shifted around the room in her various states of shock. Why wouldn't Lake have taken her out of the room after it happened? He left her in there.
I did notice one more thing; after Olivia took the gun on the table, she didn't go straight to Cooper like she would have done with any other victim. I thought it was very clear that she had the second gun, the .45, with her and was plannin on killing herself. That took a little away from the scene for me.
