Good day everyone, Hello, it's the Byrdman coming at you today. I hope that everyone is doing well, and that the week is starting off with a break for you all as well! Well, my Rams won last night! Woo-hoo! They beat the Cowboys 20-10 last night, and we finish the season at 6-10. It was a bittersweet win, because the Rams will be going through a housecleaning this offseason, and I'm wondering just how far down it will go. We will be firing our coach of 6 years at 1:30 today, and we will be looking for a new group of players as well. This offseason should be very interesting. Hi, Trublu! So, are you going to be at the playoff game against Jacksonville? I'm sure you are a happy girl, and you are ready to rock, right?

And the Colts won this weekend so I can't wait to go back to school. I wonder if my teacher will make them write "Colt's Lost" 100 times still. So, do the playoffs begin this week for the superbowl?

Hi munchkin, Hey, girl! So good to hear from you here, I hope that you enjoy it tomorrow - I'll bet your teacher will make them write it. The Colts lost the previous 2 weeks straight, and it was a last second challenge that allowed them to win yesterday. And to answer your question, yes the playoffs that wil end up in the Super Bowl will begin next Saturday evening. There will be 2 weeks of playoffs, then the next week there will be the Championship games, then the next week is the Super Bowl. So, the SB will be three weeks away from this coming Sunday. Are you ready, munchkin?

Falcons went to the playoffs last year. We (as in, the city of ATL) were incredibly excited; metaphorically speaking, we painted the city red and black; lots of spirit in this city.
But we lost.

I only watch the Superbowl because of the commercials. But it seems like last year they didn't have any good ones. They just air a whole bunch of old ones that were already showing before the Superbowl came on. Then again, if the Colts do make it, my highschool might declare a threeday weekend because they're big in my town.

Hey byrdman, we in Ohio are crossing our fingers..Ohio State is up 21-13...Not much else to cheer about in Northeastern Ohio..This is Cleveland Browns territory and we know how bad that is.

Hi byrdman,
No, unfortunately I'm not gunna get to see my Pats play. We're actually having my b-day party that day; good thing its the 8 o'clock game!!
I can't wait for some playoff action.. maybe we'll get another drop kick! Day-yum, that was the best play EVER. Nobody's run it since 41!!!
*In case someone didn't see, Pats score a touchdown, and bring Flutie on for the 2 point conversion. He takes the ball 15 yards back, and instead of throwing it, drop kicks it right down the middle of the posts for the extra point* ;D

Hi Trublu, Hey, girl. Oh, so sorry hat your team had such a rough time last night. Turnovers kill teams, unfortunately. Plus, the Broncos have a really good team too. Please don't cry, Trublu. You have nothing to be sad about. Your team has put together one of the most impressive strings of victories in NFL history, and that is something you can take with you for the rest of your life.

Hi munchkin, Hey, how's it going, girl? Great to hear from you here, and it is actually a good time to let you know the score in this game. It is halftime, and the Colts have struggled so far in the 1st half. They trail the Pittsburgh Steelers 14-3. I will keep watching and let you know how the game ends up. Take care, and have a great day, girl!

Colts lost 21-18 (big upset) and N.E. lost to Denver yesterday 27-13, so the AFC Championship game will be Pittsburg @ Denver.
For the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks are advancing to the Championship game, and will play the winner of the Chicago -Carolina game, still in progress.

Hi munchkin, Hey, girl! Oh my gosh, if you could picture an exciting game, this was it! The whole way through it was a roller coaster on the 4th quarter. The Steelers would turn it over, the Colts would score, the Colts would turn it over - wow! If you could see highlights of this, munchkin, I would recommend it. And I don't think your classmates will stop talking about this game anytime soon. Sorry, munchkin.
