I think it's unfair how they sent Casey off. I've was expecting something more. I agree 100%...Diane got a raw deal.

I agree and while I think we'll have some closure on this on the next premiere I do hope Casey herself guest stars to do the closure. I would have at least liked to see her throw the folder on the desk and say "then I quit.." or something. They left it WAY too open in my opinion. We at least neec closure.

I don't think we will get the closure we need, somehow I just feel we won't.

On Casey:
This was SVU's last chance in my book, and they blew it. The entire time that Casey has been a part of this cast, she has been bumped, bruised, and given storylines and plots that leave no room for sympathy. Let me count the ways in which this episode was unCaseylike tonight:
- Casey spent the whole episode playing by the book, just to all of a sudden lie about a ME document that she knows could be easily verified and checked? I don't think so.
-Why did they bother setting up the part in the beginning where she could have gone into the criminal field, when they were going to suspend her? It would have been better for her to quit.
- I don't even think Diane was convinced.
On Chester:
Where was the setup for this? Where were the violent tendancies, the obsession, anything? This came out of left field for him. He was always a pretty mild detective. And then, this case pops out of nowhere. Convenient.
On Elliot and Fin:
Just a mess overall. Where did that come from? I don't even know what to say beyond that. Totally out of character, totally rediculous.
As you can probably tell, I am totally unhappy with the way the episode played out.

I agree with that, benstabler, I'm glad someone put Elliot in his place. However, I'm a bit surprised by Fin's reaction, I didn't see that coming.

I'd say that Elliot can be a jerk, definitely. But I don't see him being the jerk he was towards Fin at all. When he called in the dump on Fin's phone, I was taken aback. He butts in where he isn't wanted sometimes, but he has always trusted his coworkers.
