I was never a fan of Monique Jeffries....and the more I watch my Season 1's the more I dislike her chracter. Just curious what everyone else thought of her.

The whole storyline about her sleeping with a perp was just not what I thought would happen. It gave me more reason to dislike her character.

I thought she was ok. I didn't pay to much attention when she was there and I didn't miss her when she left. She really didn't add much to the show. Your so right Finaddict she wasn't a good match with Munch. she didn't really fit in with the squad either.

Ice-T as Fin replaced her..I loved that scene at the end of season one when he comes to the Squad as a transfer-in and Cragen is too busy so he introduces himself to her.

Not that it matters, but I'm pretty sure that scene when Fin first came on board was the first episode of Season 2, WRONG IS RIGHT. The last episode of Season 1, SLAVES was when the detectives had their pscyh evaluations and the psychiatrist stated that one of the detectives should be dismisssed. Cragen said WHICH ONE? Or WHO? Anyway, I agree with you regarding Jeffries. She didn't fit in with the squad. When Fin introduces himself to her she says "So you're the one who's taking my job" or something akin to that.

I do believe you are correct Rambabe, that it was the first episode of Season 2.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't care for her. I thoght it was me since I got started on the show late in the game.

I thoght it was me since I got started on the show late in the game. I also came on late in the game, but caught up by watching all the reruns on USA. I distinctly remember SLAVES and it is one of my favorite episodes from Season 1. WRONG IS RIGHT aired recently on USA, so I was pretty sure about Fin in that episode. It's also the first episode Alex appeared in.

"Wrong is Right" was definitely unique in that respect, having two new characters come on at once. Both Alex and Fin made their debutes in this episode; Alex appeared right away, though, and Fin didn't come in until later. Jefferies, though we didn't really see her anymore, didn't actually leave until (I believe) "Baby Killer", which was a few episodes after "Wrong is Right".
I was never a fan of Jefferies, either. I was very glad that they wrote Cassidy and Jefferies out quickly, because they just didn't fit.

LOL..Now I got it straight. My oh my the seasons are all running together. I think Jeffries was in one more episode in Season 2 where she leaves her badge and gun and Cragen sees Fin sitting with it and thinks, He (Fin) is quitting. Anyways, I was not sorry to see here go.
