I personally didn't like the episode all that much, it oddly enough didn't feel like an SVU episode at all; it jumped around too much and I got confused when they were talking to all of the women and then El spotted the "Green Clothing Line" or whatever, and then Luke Perry ends up as the rapist? I was totally lost by the end of that episode. I enjoyed Sara Gilbert on the episode; she's a great actress and filled her role great. Luke Perry and Julie Bowen on the other hand - they're good actors, both of them, but everyone was making a big deal out of Luke Perry being on the show, and it really wasn't anything special in my opinion. I'm glad that they went back to see more into Liv's "almost rape", and it was getting intense when she had the flashbacks, etc. I thought of Olivia in a different perspective when she was talking to Sara Gilbert's character, Kaitlin, about all of her symptoms of Rape Trauma Sydrome (PTSD), because she knew exactly was Kaitlin was talking about with the sleeping on the couch and leaving the TV on, and all of that. It seemed different, sort of odd and out of place, to think that Olivia was going through those same things of PTSD. The whole credit card mishap was um... sorry but, it was just plain stupid. I thought that they strung that out way too long through the episode, and Elliot didn't seem like a cop on the job. At the end though it all made some sense, with Kathleen approaching Elliot about his credit cards. We'll get to see all about that in the next episode, so actually I was glad that they're starting something and carrying it on until the next episode, which is rare to happen on SVU unless it's a big event. Overall it was an okay episode. It didn't feel like a season premiere in my opinion; it could've been sooo much better. But I'm definetly not downhearted or disappointed; there's a lot to come in this season!

(Hi new! ;D ) I loved the episode and was so happy season 10 finally started Not to sure what I think about the new ADA, Kim. I'm on the fence abour her... I kinda knew that everything that happened in 'undercover' would come back to haunt Olivia. It's upsetting though, to see our strong female character so broken and terrified like that. The small side plot of Stabler having his credit card stolen was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen XD He was so angry! It was cute.

This episode was no more than average, in my opinion. The worst part was that Liv has definately ditched her old watch.
As for this whole PTSD ordeal, it makes me worry a little bit. I would not be surprised if it goes on for the entire season, and that they'll eventually use it to write Mariska off the show.
Personally, I like the new ADA; and I think she'll grow on me. Yes, she had this fairly annoying attitude about her, but let's just remember Alex and Casey's first episodes. And this Graylek woman almost looks as hot as Alex in her grey suit.
As for Elliot, he acted like a little brat. I understand completely that Fin is still pissed at him over what he did in "Cold", and the way Elliot was constantly hung up on catching the guy that stole his card annoyed me.
And I counted at least two times where Olivia got all Weepy and teared up; not a good sign. And I also didn't like her clothing. But most of all - I want the watch back.

Well here is my opinion. Finally home to write one.
I was not a huge fan of this episode.
I understand the whole almost rape thing with Liv, but where is the tough as nails yet compassionate detective of the first 6 season. Someone put out an APB. Enough of the angst already.
Elliot and the stolen credit card is hard to explain. It wasn't necessesary but then it does show a slice of life. Let me explain. In every work force there is someone witha financial problem or a child in trouble etc. It ends up being discussed. In that way it shows a slice of real life. I am of the don't air your troubles of work frame of mind so I was not thrilled with this sub-plot.
Fin being cast as the bad guy again. Come now. Enough.
Munch was adorable and seen more than usual and I loved his interaction with Fin and think those two need to be back as partners.
New ADA. Don't like her. I loved Alex and by Casey's 2nd episode I was a Casey convert. This one got on my last nerve. I don't think her mentioning her previous job in DC was appropriate. I want to scream at the TV..UMMM...Honey, ya ain't in DC, it is NYC and we do it diferent here.
Huang and Warner...UMMM..where the hell were they.
Guest stars..who needs them.

I personally like the guest stars, but I won't get into that.
I am usually optimistic and I won't say this soured me on the show but I do hope they step it up a little next week.

that is just wrong and mean and dumb! whoever in the world did that cover is an idiot! it doesn't matter what her hair is like! and by the way if you didn't know Mariska and her HUSBAND Peter Hermann just celebrated their 3 YEAR anniversary last month!
i love her long hair! she looks more sophisticated when she has it like that! that short crap is just that, CRAP! whoever put the idea that it was better into Dick and Neal's head should...

Terry, I definitely see where you're going with the watch; while I didn't notice it myself, I have a feeling next week when I watch (heh) I will, and I will die a little inside. RE: the new ADA: Faith! Have faith! This episode looked exactly like Casey's first episode (the only thing they were missing was a tear or two).

It is hard to have faith but I guess I could try. I know Casey's entrance was contentious but she wasn't arrogant and I felt Kim was. Who cares what she did in DC.

I think she'll realize that she's not in DC in one of the next episodes, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is during a sad case involving a kid or something. And then she'll get this sudden realization, and then something dramatic will happen. I'm hoping Liv will offer a shoulder to cry on...

I've read my first Kim/Olivia fic, and I approve whole-heartedly. I think what they were missing in this episode was the "humbling" part. Casey shed a little of the tough girl act at the very end of her first episode, and quite literally shed some tears. Alex didn't come across nearly as strong, though she did call in a favor her first episode, to Uncle (the Judge). The emotional repercussion needs to appear sometime soon (read: next episode) otherwise we're going to have a problem.

I'm gonna jump on the Kim/Olivia ship too, I'm just waiting a little bit for the two of the to actually have a conversation... Want to share the link to the fic? I couldn't find it anywhere I looked.

I agree Our new ADA needs to lighten up and soften up and soon. I'm still pretty much sold on A/O so I haven't given any thought to O/K
