I'll definitely keep on watching as well. Now if Tamara left I think I'd stop watching, but until she does I'll keep up with the show and see what goes down.

Yeah, I'll continue to watch, but it is sliding downhill, and fast. But I haven't actually seen the season finale, for some reason Hallmark didn't show it, or I completly screwed up my dates and missed it, which sucks.

we can only hope the show improves in using the whole cast. I for one can always watch USA or my tapes of the good years.

Yes thank god for USA and good old recorded episodes. That's what I do when I don't like the newest eppies, watch USA or my tapes.

I fear many of us who loved the "Ensemble Cast "scenario, will revert to tapes and DVD's of earlier seasons if things do not change.

Season 8 was the worst?! Really?! I LOVED season 8! Apart from the awful Dani nonsense and Stabler-baby crap (I'm an E/O shipper, what can I say?). I think 8 had some excellent moments and I'm sorry but I adore the Benson and Stabler-centric episodes. Even just the Liv-centric. Philadelphia and Florida rank high up there for me on my list of favorite eps ever. Along with Burned, Choreographed, Infiltrated, Dependent (except for that ending *shudders*), Loophole and Responsible. In all honesty the only less than stellar eps in season 8 are when Liv isn't there. I do miss the emsemble cast episodes. One that always immediately comes to mind is Scavenger in season 6 which was brilliant. Along with Countdown in season 2.
But I cannot in good conscious call season 8 the worst. In fact, I really can't peg any of the SVU seasons as "worst" because to me they have all been brilliant. If I absolutely positively had to pick a least favorite..it might be season 3 though I honestly don't know why I would pick that because I love that season too. So like I said, I just can't see any of the seasons as bad.

I must agree with those who think that season 8 was the overall worst season in the history of SVU, mostly due to the fact that the whole Olivia-thing. And I didn't like Dani. And also, I didn't like Liv's hair.

There doesn't seem to be alot of middle ground on Season 8. People either loved it or hated it. ..I just liked this show as it was in it's first 6 seasons. I feel those were the best and I hated season 8

Since Liv is supposedly dating a man, season 9 is the worst season ever in my mind. Why, Dick Wolf, WHY!?

Its been progressively getting worse. Season 7 was ok, Season 8 was pretty bad. This season has just been god awful. But if last weeks episode, the release of diane neal and adam beach are a sign of things to come, then SVU will be back on the road to salvation.

But, I'm curious to hear why you think that Diane Neal leaving will contribute to better shows? Diane is (or was) an integral part of the show.

Yeah, I'm confused too. Diane/Casey gave so much to the show. I could see the point with Adam. He just kind of came out of know where, and really hasn't done much for the show. But Diane has given so much to the show. Casy is a rich character with depth.
