Yes, my dear, I do. We maybe on opposite sides of the E/O versus E/K BUT we are both smart enough to know that Kathy needs to get over it.

omg kathy needs to get over the fact that she is a woman and his partner and bff! She wasn't upset with Olivia; that is water under the bridge at the moment. What she was upset about was Elliot not calling home for a long period of time, and for not letting her know that he was going to be gone for a period of time. I can see why that would be upsetting, seeing as it takes... maybe 10 seconds to make the call, 30-60 seconds to talk to someone and let them know that you'll be gone for the next few days, and a push of a button to disconnect the call? Don't try and fool me into thinking that Elliot didn't have a minute to make that call. If I was Kathy, I'd be pissed too. Besides that... we've slid back into the realm of "why is this an SVU episode, again?" The woman wasn't raped, wasn't abused, she was smuggling animals and stupidly opened the cage of a tiger to pet it. That's homicide's job, not SVU. In what world would an SVU detective go undercover in an animal smuggling ring? And as if they didn't have enough excuses to get Elliot out of his shirt and into a pair of tiny underwear... they had to have Olivia do it to. At least it's a sign of females becoming more involved? (I think?) Or else, just regular old fashioned female exploitation. No Munch. Kim for about five seconds. This might be considered a "huge" appearance for Fin. I was not happy with this episode at all.

Don't try and fool me into thinking that Elliot didn't have a minute to make that call. If I was Kathy, I'd be pissed too. I agree- it wasn't about Olivia at all when Kathy attempted to leave. Elliot really needs to wake up and start realizing that he needs to talk to his wife, to communicate with her, in Swing (Elliot really should've told Kathy that he turned in the stolen necklace to the defense rather then having her find out in court- sure she would be pissed but better that then what actually happened!) and now in Wildlife. I don't know, maybe that undercover cop Tybor really did give it to Elliot? I think Tybor himself was in pain over losing his own family that his job costed him and he was way too deep into what he's doing, but Elliot is not a regular candidate to be undercover as often. How many times has Elliot been undercover? Risk (season 4), Demons (season 7) were big ones for him but they are far and few in between. He also has Fin working side by side with him- Fin's own wife left him as he's been countlessly undercover while working in Narcotics, Terry's words "you were just gone". Well anyway, the episode was better then I thought it would be. I was cringing at the idea about Elliot and Olivia's "compromising position" but seeing it now, I saw it being an innocent and saving thing. Buschido seems to be the kind that does NOT fool around, nothing is safe in his way, not even the animals! Eating a tiger...gross. I think I'll stick with eating cow, chicken, lamb, and pig, farm animals. No Haung. He's only appeared in one episode this season and this is #7 to air. What's the point of having him in the credits when he's not going to appearing at all? No Munch either but I'm going to let that slide because I think it was that time that Richard Belzer's been promoting his new book and also, in the previous episode, Munch did take a beating with baseball bats so I wouldn't doubt it that he's in pain. Elliiot called Kathy baby ;D and also, Elliot holding Eli was heartwarming. I love those curls!

But I can also see where Elliot is coming from. When he's at work, he's at work. Nothing else is more important then work. Unfortuantely, he can't just let it go when it's time to go home and it frustrates him. I think that undercover cop really opened his eyes at the end. Hopefully it's changed Elliot somewhat.

the way it was all put out there first before the ep was done it seemed like it was all Liv's fault! after the ep it made sense that she was pissed that he didn't call home again!

Why, I mean WHYY??? they make such great episodes with great actors and plot lines, and then ruin it with things that make the show feel like stupid soap drama. I can't help it bothers me that it's too unrealistic that Elliot was up and ready to go in less than a day from the shooting, and the next day he's, oh running after perps and acting like it was a hit of a fist not bullet. Same thing with the comment of the other undercover cop... Too.. much right words as an unknown advice. The horror of how Elliot survived the shooting ended too fast and I was like, jeah what's to watch now. Oh, and also, not an SVU episode! And then to the good things *Liv faking a prostitute <- Great! *The episode started great!! It's freshing to have different kind of opening. *Liv and Elliot playing the role half naked *The monkey (even after being in a basketball and acting nothing like animal in fear) clinging to Graigen <- so cute! *Liv chasing and fighting with the other cop <- nice to see someone else than Elliot restling with the suspects for change. She wasn't upset with Olivia; that is water under the bridge at the moment. What she was upset about was Elliot not calling home for a long period of time, and for not letting her know that he was going to be gone for a period of time. Unfortuantely, he can't just let it go when it's time to go home and it frustrates him. A bit disagree with that. He lost his family once, should he be smarter now and use that 30seconds to make the call home. Maybe if they went back to the "actual" svu-cases (rapes, molested kids, the elderly) the show shouldn't at times feel like it's a "normal tv-show". Olivia reacting to the attempt rape was realistic and I was actually glad they brought it up, because, normally you don't get over situation like that like it was another day in the office. But if you get shot, you don't get healthy just in few days. ...yeah, maybe that's enough whining for now ;D

Well I guess I am the only one who thinks Kathy is wrong in her actions.
Yes Elliot should have called her BUT leaving isn't the answer and that is why I feel she needs to get over it. She needs to sit Elliot down and confront him over her issues not turn and run or seperate as she did a few seasons back that solves nothing.
I think being the spouse of anyone in law enforcement is the hardest job in the world.
Now as for episode, I liked it but it was not an SVU episode. In a normal sex crimes unit, I feel once it was established that it was not an sex crimes case, it would have been handed over to the Unit that handles these cases.
I found the tiger meat disgusting myself. I thought the whole exploitation of animals by these perps to be obsene.
I saw Fin at least. That is all I can say.
