Hey folks just wanted to post a note and let you know I am going out of town Saturday until sometime late next Saturday. Then having a tooth pulled that Monday I am sure I will pop in some while I am gone but maybe not as often so wanted to let you all know! ;D I am headed down south to some warmer weather to Birmingham, Alabama for training for work!

Have some fun in the warm weather, benstabler! And make sure you have some ice cream after getting your tooth pulled. Trying to eat that stuff with a Novocained mouth is fantastic.

I was actually at the dentist's today myself. I've been procrastinating it for weeks, and I called them on Monday, and got an appointment today. I was so scared that I had like 6 cavities that were huge and would be such a pain to fill. To my relief I only had two, and they almost didn't make the cut for being called cavities. So lucky me! Or, anyway, that was what I though, until my dentist ordered some further X-rays, showing a rotated wisdom tooth that should be removed. And guess what; it's underneath the gums, and will have to be extracted from where it lurks. However, the good part is, or perhaps not really good, but still, my next appointment isn't until the end of March, where I'll have my cavities filled, and most likely my dentist is going to try and refer me to someone who can take care of my tooth. I might try and argue with her, though. I've already worked out my leading argument: "Wikipedia says there are no studies supporting the practise of pulling wisdom teeth!" That'll teach her.

Hey all, finally have time to check in. Have not had much free time. School is always rough since I wake up at the time I normally go to bed, plus the weather change is making my allergies act up The weather has been nice, rainy and windy earlier, we lost power at school for about an hour. It's nice to get away but I am ready to come home. Good luck with that tooth Terry, I actually have one that my dentist can't pull or do a root canal on so I will have to have it pulled by an oral surgeon or a root canal done by a specialist. The enamel on my teeth is very bad so I have had so many problems, I am ready for some false teeth!

Some are both and they are dental."

I have had all my wisdom teeth removed ( does that mean I am not wise ?!) and 2 root canals. I was scared the first time, especially the first root canal; but believe it or not, I got used to it. I also had to have 4 teeth pulled before wearing braces at the age of 45. Now that was a real pain!!

Cr*p. They had a cancellation. I have to get the cavities filled tomorrow instead... Perhaps if I turn on my charm the dentist will forget all about the wisdom tooth? Or, I could try to hide under a table or something like that.

well good luck Terry. My extraction went OK. I will agree with the mental. I didn't feel a thing but I was freaking out because of the whole thinking about them yanking out a tooth! lol I am home, got hom Sat and pretty much slept and struggled to stay awake Sunday then got up WAY too early Monday (well for my normal schedule). I am still kinda tired. The drive home was 15 hours (we did a side trip) and I drove 13 of the 15 hours myself! I have been trying to nap since getting home from the dentist but not happening. Anyways good luck Terry, keep us posted! And Rambabe I guess I am not wise either, had all 4 of mine out at 17. YUK with the braces, I never needed those but my friend just had them at age 35 or so.
