I agree with both of you. Compassionate Elliot is rare. Good to see it happen.

I was VERY happy with this episode! And it was really good to see Alex Kingston. It made me miss my ER days ! lolololol
But yes. Good story, good character interaction. Good stuff all around :]

I agree with both of you. Compassionate Elliot is rare. Good to see it happen. I just found it weird and awkward. Despite the fact that he has kids, the image of him as this caring, open-minded and friendly guy just don't sit right with me. All in all a good episode, not great, but we've certainly seen worse. I did think the whole thing with the guidance counselor being the perp, and then "shockingly" telling a haunting story of what happened to her years ago was a little unoriginal, though.

really? I didn't think it was too unoriginal, certainly not something we visit with SVU on a regular basis anyways.

Could it be because we haven't really seen that side of him in a long time? He had those compassion moments in Repression, Home, and Contagious...that was a few years ago! Since then Elliot just got into a raging person on the edge. Now it seems he's 'back', it has taken some time but it's there.

I thought it was very cliché, despite the fact that I love clichés. Mad4SVU; I agree that Stabler was softer before, but they way he's been lately has made me dislike him and view him as a hothead and a loose cannon.

I've now seen this episode a good 4 times, currently on my fifth. I have to say..I rlly like this ep. liked it the first time, and i still like it. I'm never getting over how funny that small conversation b/w Sid and Liv goes.
"are you a dancer?" and then his "you're pretty enough to be one" lol.
