I don't know how many of you watched it, but I got the chance to see it when I got home from work. I have to say it was extravagant, just like them man himself. But I wasn't prepared for the tears that I shed. I mean, I knew I'd cry a little, but I cried as if I really knew him. As I sat and listened, my tears wouldn't stop. My mom at one point shook her head and looked at me funny. "You don't even know him," she said. I just shrugged. "I know, but I do know what it's like to have you're childhood taken away from you," I said sadly. My mom was quiet, then she nodded and said, "Ok". I watched as celebraties came and went. But what touched me them most, what hurt the most was when little Paris took the mic and spoke quiet, simple words about her father. They weren't over the top, they weren't loud, but they were honest and humbling. Michael Jackson gave us so many gifts with his music. But the most precious ones didn't come from a studio or from a check book. His three children were the last gifts he gave us and I hope that we can protect them as they grow. I know that was really mushy, but I can't help it

I watched and taped it...I loved everything. I was twary eyed through most of it. Jermaine when he sang Michael's favorite song...it broke my heart and Poor Marlon too... those two I think are really shaken up and Janet too it seems. That little boy who was supposed to be on his tour with him...my god he was just awesome I couldn't believe it. Also I loved Usher and Mariah and Al Sharpton man that man got right to the point. I just loved everyone. When Paris spoke and swear at first I thought Janet was going to say something...that's when I started to real cry...figures...My mom was watching it too she's a huge fan of Michael too and she was crying more than I was..LOL. I'm really glad I taped it. I ouldn't believe that all of the major networks were covering it.

I was working when the Memorial was on but the parts I saw shown on the news afterwards appeared to be a fitting tribute to the man and his music.
