Yesterday evening/night I experienced the scariest thing in my life. 4 tornado's hit Ontario all at once. 1 actually touched down in the area I live in and one hit where my sister lives as well as my cousins place. The hardest hits were in farm/open area's - my sister's area.
I've never scene anything like it - I'm used to earthquakes and T-storms but not tornado's.
Canada is not known for tornado's but I guess there is a first time for everything.
My mom and I just sat in the dark in our kitchen floor with 3 candles and listened to the storm out side. When it was over it was really eerie - the sky was this yellowish color. Like the dead calm after a storm. Just creepy.
Don't know why I posted this but it sure is nice to here right now...

Glad that you're okay! There have been tornados popping up in the most random places lately. I'm in New England, and last month there were a few scares. I'll tell you, I was scared to death of the color of the sky -- this eerie green color. I hope I don't see it again soon.

Glad you are ok. Our local news showed the areas that were it. It looks awful. I had no idea you lived right near this, JrBenson.
Trublu, that green sky is very scary as the only 2 times I have seen it here a tornado soon followed.

Aw, JrBenson! *hugs* I can't imagine how scary that ust have been! I can't say I know how it feels, England doesn't get many, but I've seen a few of those true life documentaries and the destruction afterwards *shudder* I'm so glad you and your family are ok!
