THE BRUTAL MURDER OF A WEALTHY COUPLE LEADS TO A FRAUD DETECTIVE WHOSE MAIN SUSPECT MAY ALSO BE A KILLER.
When a rich and powerful couple with political connections is found murdered in their bedroom, Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) decide to speak to the deceased couple’s daughter, Anne (guest star Sarah Paulson), for more information. After hearing Anne's account of a nefarious man who has been following her, the detectives soon discover that Anne’s supposed stalker is none other than Detective Ash Ramsey (guest star Naveen Andrews) of the Special Frauds division. Convinced that Anne killed her parents for their money, Ramsey becomes suspicious of Anne’s business manager and is led to believe that he helped her steal money from the foundation she runs. When blackmail and embezzlement come into play, the detectives find that their lives may be at risk over a girl with some serious parent issues. Also starring: Dann Florek (Captain Donald Hagen), Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch), Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Stephanie March (ADA Alexandra Cabot), B.D. Wong (Dr. George Huang) and Tamara Tunie (M.E. Warner).

It was a pretty good episode. I love how Elliot was quick to protect his family

I liked this episode! I think Naveen and Paula both did a great job. I wouldn't mind seeing Naveen again actually. I always like seeing Fin play the bad guy/ghetto/drug dealer/etc when he has the opportunity.

I think Naveen Andrews and Mariska worked well together. I called my mom in the middle of her watching it and told her how great Naveen was and that he should be on it more often, and she reminded me that he would have the time since it's Lost's last season. Somebody should email Dick Wolf. There were so many shocks and twist and turns last night. It was a great episode all around.

I agree dukie. They had some really great moments. I'm really interested in 'Ramsey's' past. The way he acted when the suspect mentioned his past just made me want to see his character again. Although, I could see some flirting going on between the two...not liking that part

Even though this was in no way an SVU case, I loved it. Naveen is certainly easy on these old eyes and I thought he did an awesome job.
The episode had enough twists and turns to keep me guessing.

It was a good episode Like said earlier, it wasn't an SVU case and it was kinda long shot to bring them on the scene with possible 'domestic violence' -relations, but for once it didn't bother

It was kind of strange from the very beginning for me, because for this episode they blatantly acknowledged that it wasn't an SVU case, but they were going to write it anyway. I can't believe that there was no way to write an SVU case that still tangled up the fraud unit and Ramsey. Are they running out of ideas or something? That said, I liked the episode beyond that fact. Having Naveen on as Ramsey was quite nice, and I greatly enjoyed Sarah Paulson's performance as well, it was quite creepy. I also enjoyed Huang, though I do most of the time anyway since we see so little of him to start. It was a great idea to run with the theme that they had to expose Anne's psychotic side. The sting operation was a wonderful few scenes.
