As much as I'd like to celebrate, there is a possibility that it may be over turned again in the Surpreme Court. I'll wait until the decision is made by the higher ups before I start partying . I know I'm a kill joy, but this has happened before and it was overturned just as fast.

I think that this is a good omen for the future appeals that will be happening. It may take a while, and it may take several appeals of different laws, but I think this will eventually turn out positively on the national stage. This judge has at least given us a solid hope that people can indeed see that any laws abridging the rights of certain people is in direct conflict with the 14th amendment.

From your friend north of the border, I hope it turns out in your favor. Here in Canada, the people voted and they've given the us the right to get hitched or not. Good luck
