It was ok. I cried at the end of the first episode - the look on Mackenzie's face when their 'real' daughter came home...poor girl. And Olivia's face...I was pretty sure she was just gonna go and pick up that little girl and take her home.
I'm betting that the thing that 'Olivia has been wanting' is probably gonna be that - this season, I have a gut feeling that this time she is gonna get a kid. Whether she get's prego or adopts, she's gonna have a kid by the end of the season.
The big annoyance - Olivia and her (bad) guy. Everytime Olivia or someone is interested in her, they ultimately turn into a bad guy. You can set your watch by it.
Come on writers! You can do better...heck! I can do better with a Olivia's story! Oy vey...you'd think they learned from past seasons...

I loved the first episode. It was one of the best I have ever seen.
The second one was good but 20 min. in I knew Cusack was the perp.
I agree Jrbenson. They way they write Olivia's 'love interests" leaves much to be desired.

I am with you Finaddict, Joan gave an excellent performance and the episode was good all around.
I also knew too soon he was the perp, I think partly because he was in both episodes also.
Good point Jr Benson, while I always got a chuckle of her always having to break dates for the job (because I am sure that happens with that job in real life) I really don't even want to see her with a love interest. She's been single this far in, leave it be.

I agree leave her single. I hate the idea of wondering if every epi will being this kind of thing.

Good episodes! I hope the whole season will be like this; SVU cases without lame and unrealistic skripts concentrading on the characters more than the show itself. I agree with all above what said about Olivia's love interests. After all this time, they should give her a real relationship or like benstabler said, leave it be. It was ok. I cried at the end of the first episode - the look on Mackenzie's face when their 'real' daughter came home...poor girl. ... To me it looked more like she was thankfull. Her time as a replicant was going to end. Also meaning that she wasn't needed in the family anymore, though
