What did you guys think of this ep? I thought it was pretty good, definitely not the best so far this season. I don't like it when team members are missing, and Olivia was gone the entire ep except for one scene. The girl playing Jesse Dawning is on "Lost," so I spent the whole ep thinking that she should be stranded on an island. It was an interesting story though. I took communication law in college, and the radio shockjock thing has been brought to court before. There have been real life cases where people tried to blame radio DJ's for crimes committed by their listeners. The law scenes were dead on from my text book. Casey practically quoted it! I felt bad for Jesse. She seemed like a "little girl lost." How funny was Elliot's face every time he saw her with her husband? He was so disturbed!

TV- funny about lost I thought this episode was quite good. It had a lot of Casey moments, so i was content for the night ;D i was wondering where Olivia was as well. Im know that Cragen mentioned something about a plane flight, but where was she going? Interesting about the scenes being from your textbook. it facinates me what/whom people blame their actions on. Just because someone says something over the radio or tv doesnt make him accountable for other people's actions. (and if you dont like what your hearing, take a page from Casey's book and turn the darn thing off!) I mean, ive heard of innocent by reason of insanity (although, personally, i think it should be guilty by reason of insanity, they still committed the crime didnt they? they're still guilty, although they shouldnt go to jail for it, just get psychiatric help) but no guilty because someone else mentioned the idea? i dont think so.

Hmm... I didnt enjoy the episode at all. I was disapointed. Where Olivia went, was in the last episode, "Debt" when Elliot shot the guy in the end, Olivia had to go to a hearing or something on the lines of that for his side of why he shot the dude. Well, that is what I am told from the Mariska Board I am always on.
I noticed that there has been an increasingly amount of Casey Novak in the series. I like her, joining the "dark" side as many has called it, but I could give a darn. She isnt like Alex though... I loved when the husband put his arms around the girl, and Elliot looked like he was about to throw up. Oh Lordy my Christ! It was funny.

Oh, that makes sense about Olivia. im still sad that she wasnt there though. as for Casey, im glad their really getting her into the series. One of the reasons that March quit was because her character never changed, almost never showed any emotion. Even in 'Guilt' her face is set in stone, although you can sense her feeling of guilt, surprise, etc. We definitely do not want to lose another talented actress. Neal is just too good I lOVED chris's face everytime that happend. it was hysterical. *im going to start another topic in general svu discussion about the Novak/Cabot thing that you sorta mentioned in here.*

Thanks for catching that TruBlu! (smacks head!) Must keep the two boards seperate!! ;D
I have noticed that Casey gets more material than Alex did. There seems to be more court scenes than before season 5. Especially in this ep. We had the son's trial and his mother's trial.

Glad you liked the episode. I guess there was a fine line between liking the episode and hating it.
