That was one creepy ep! Not a lot of Casey, but maybe, since it was her birthday today, they let her go home early This one sounded a hell of a lot like Waco. I wonder if they were taking a swipe at the current Administration and the people who kept them in office?

And SVU didnt disappoint <not that it normally does, but hey...> Neither did Mariska Hargitay, i can see why it was her favorite episode, even though it must have been challenging to shoot.
S P O I L E R
S P A C E
In the scene where they were outside the apartment and they heard the mulitple gunshots, my heart sank. I have a feeling many other people guessed as well what was going on in the apartment, and while it is a sickening thought, it was a good storyline. Then Cragen <making> them all get psych evaluations. I think that Olivia breaking down has to be one of the best scenes that we've seen so far. We dont see her get emotional often. I thought it was kind of ironic that Olivia thought that she would be the one to be taken off the case because she got emotional. I think that we would have been more worried if she didnt get emotional. I was kinda taken aback by Cragen taking Elliot off the case, i thought he might want every resource possible to solve that case. But it was probably the right decision, since he was the one that didnt get emotional.
The interrogation scene between Olivia and the mother: Was intense. As soon as Olivia started raising her voice the tiniest bit, i knew she was going to lose control.
The last scene with Eugene and Olivia, and the girl (whose name is escaping me right now...) Was intense. I didnt expect [the girl] to shoot Eugene, completely took me by surprise. I thought it was a nice ending though, since he ended up destroying himself with that one statement.
Next weeks episode looks Very intreguing.... and when they ADVERTISE a kick-butt court-scene... its gunna be good. Ive scene tons of awesome court scenes that havent been advertised, so i <hope> this one will blow our minds. <Looking forward to more Casey next week as well... you can tell from her personality that she is SO involved in this.

VERY. POWERFUL. EPISODE!!!! This one ranks up there with "Loss" and "Countdown" as one of my all-time favs. The opening scenes with the cult leader in the house with the kids and the police outside were very intense. You could tell that the cops were confused. They thought the shooter was shooting at them, not the children inside. I thought the complete silence when they entered the house and discovered the bodies was very effective. It was an extrememly emotional moment. The silence made it that much more powerful.
I guess Craigen took Eliot off the case because of how he was dealing with it. In refusing to acknowledge that he had witnessed a traumatic event, he was viewed as unfit for the field. I think they were worried that it was going to catch up with him at some point and he would explode. Olivia's reaction was a stark contrast to his, as she was facing what happened to her and releasing the sadness she felt.
Mariska did a wonderful job in this ep. She stole the ep and ran with it beautifully. She showed a human side to Olivia and a wide range of emotions. She was sad, angry, enraged, scared, concerned, frustrated, etc all over the course of one case. Great job.

Again, SVU pulls out another excellent episode. This one was riveting. I liked the scenes where the detectives were getting their "heads shrunk" and seeing how each person reacted. Fin seemed the clearest in the head about what happened - and he also had the sense to step back on his own. Stabler, on the other hand, seemed like he was wearing his emotions and his 'tude on his sleeve. I think he's gonna blow. And I think that's why they took him off for a while. He seems like he is angry and frustrated and I think that they may be concerned his inability to deal with what he saw - and to separate it from his own life - would cause him to lose perspective.
Mariska Hargitay delivered another exceptional performance.
The story itself was interesting and it was hard not to get wrapped up in it.

I didnt make the connection either. Specially since it was more of an Olivia episode, and your character is Alex based.
