Once I saw the twin sister and remembered what they'd said about the male DNA sample, I figured that Lindsay was really somehow a boy.
I think the writers were going for John Locke in the psychiatrist but instead I just got nutcase who tried to twist the results of his "experiment" to his liking. I was kinda glad he died at the end.
I, too, am glad that Hendricks is gone. She annoyed me to no end.
I started to laugh when Cragen said, "Lindsay is a lesbian?", too! Oh, Wolf, what have you done to us?

I figured out that Lindsay was a boy, too, within about the first 5 minutes of the show. The pills and sex therapist just re-enforced the conclusion. But, other than that, it was a pretty strong episode.
There were two parts that really got to me. First was the no-good-gangsta- guy killing the innocent deaf woman. Although, it is a big part of Special Victims, dealing with the victims that are children and cannot defend themselves.
The other part was when the doctor was talking about his "science experiment." What kind of doctor makes an experiment out of any kid in the first place, never mind one that will be scarred for life growing up as a girl knowing inside that he was a boy, but being forced without his consent to be a girl anyways. it isnt like you can reprogram the human body for things like gender. i am not talking about gender reassignment or changing chromosomes so that a person will not have a given disease, im talking about trying to take a boy and emotionally making him a girl. it doesnt really work that way, esp. without the consent of the person.
i was quite delighted to see a little more of Casey, esp. in the scene where she had a clerk of hers "accidentally" misplace the Doctor's papers. excellent.
So Hendrix is leaving. Im on the fence. It was nice having a different, (and female) psychiatrist, but it will be nice to have Dr. Huang back.
I laughed when Cragen asked if Lindsay was a lesbian too. it just kinda came out of nowhere.

I thought this episode was pretty good. There were a lot of twists, but I felt that some of them were a little gimmicky. I figured Lindsey was a boy because it appeared that the same actor was playing both roles (of course he was - and very well I might add).
I'm not a Dr. Hendrix fan, so I hope this was her last episode. The therapist was just creepy! I can't believe he wouldn't tell Lindsey the truth because it would ruin his experiment!
Next week looks intense!
