Another wonderful outing for this show. Mariska keeps getting better and better with every episode. Thankfully we got to see Munch a bit more though I missed seeing Fin. The story was a bit confusing but not totally mindblowing. I barely recognized John Savage and he was as always amazing as the serial molester on death row. Creepy and scary.
I loved this ep. Hopefully we'll get to see a Munch/Fin episode soon.

I thought that overall, this episode was good. The plot twisted several times, so it kept the viewer's attention. A few things:
1. No Fin. At least they gave a reason for Elliot to be out of the picture, but what was Fin up to? 2. To borrow a phrase we have come to be using a lot in the Casey Novak Yahoo! group: The episode was anemically low in Casey. Her second scene, where Avery has just confessed to killing Deacon, seemed a little forced. Her line "Why do you care? He's a murderer." seemed so out of place. It was like rewinding the tape back to when she did white collar, where the bad guy was the bad guy and that was it. That isnt who she is anymore. In past episodes, "Abomination" for example, she has become a lot more sympathetic to the victims since "Serendipity." Bad decision by the writers. Casey has been moving forward, dont push her back.
3. The last scene between Olivia and Elliot: was well done. They made the ultimate point with this line " And look how good you turned out." We can make our own destiny, our genes and our upbringing dont have to determine everything.

I thought this was a good episode. The guest characters names were very similar and it threw me off a lot. I liked having an Olivia-themed episode. I like it better, though, when all the teams members are present. There wasn't even a mention of Fin and Elliot's departure seemed forced and too convenient.
Have to agree with you here TruBlu:
I'm not a Casey fan (that is to say that I don't dislike her, but she's not my fav character, and I can take her or leave her in any given episode), but I thought she was out of character in this ep. Honestly, it was like they just wrote her in as an after thought. Very weird. The character has made a lot of strides over the past year or so, and I'd rather they keep pushing her in that direction instead of the reverse one.
Overall, good ep. I'm glad Olivia wasn't really stalked.
