A woman involved in virtual reality video games goes missing, and her "avatar" is at the root of the investigation.

I liked it for the most part, but I found it far fetched. I had no idea until some of my younger friends informed me that there is a similar site on the internet. Kinda scary. Lake was in it alot but I still don't know if I like him. Munch was no were to be found. I hope that's not permanent. I got to see Fin and Casey was there too. But our ME? Nowhere to be seen.

Definitely interesting in that aspect. Maybe they are trying to give each person more air time each episode and this time around it was Lake?

I just don't know what is now going to happen to Munch. The cases and Munch are the reason I watched in the first place.

You know what I found also weird along with Melinda not being in this episode which sucked is everytime Olivia and Elliot or anyone was in the lab in the episode that lady showed up I had the captions on my TV and it said her name was Lu now I kept trying out why she was there all the time or who she was (she was a tech obviously) I thought maybe she may have been an assistant of Melinda's that we haven't met yet, but I don't know I like her, but I so missed Melinda though.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about Lake. Don't get me wrong... he's OK, but if I'm going to lose Munch... I will not be happy... (sorry, but that's just my opinion). As for the episode... I found it sad that people would actually pretend to be kids (14 yrs. old) so guys could have their fantacy of sex with them... I mean, it's one thing to have a virtual site & be of age, but to pretend to be a child for sex fantacy... very odd to me.

We had a case here in Cleveland with an adult couple who had a myspace account where they solicited kids to come to their house to exhange sex for tatoos. I posted a thread in off topic about it.

I liked this episode, and as I've said in other threads, I've actually warmed to Lake really quickly. Although he reminds me of someone, and I can't put my finger on who, so that bugs me. I end up thinking it's just because I've seen him in other episodes, so he reminds me of him, but *shrug* Yeah, there are sites out there like this, and it creeps me out to know how much information people share in them. I do it all the time, without thinking about the consequences. It's terrifying when you're confronted with what could happen. I have to say though, I've actually liked these S9 eps so far. Annoyed that Munch and Warner and Huang have seemed to have done a vanishing act though. Will not be happy if that is rectified. It was so much better when it was the entire Unit rather than one or two characters.
