oliviafan we can't download it in that format. Go back to WMM and save it in a different format.

OK, my suggestions:
1. Mute most of the clips. If you want to keep a little dialogue, that's ok. But not all of it.
2. Use a wider variety of clips. It will make it more interesting.
3. Use some of the effects that come with WMM for your transitions to make them a little less choppy.
4. The recording from the computer is good in theory, but it doesn't really work.
5. I like the song, but the 45 seconds of nothing at the end should be cut out.
6. If you're making a vid, make a vid. Don't make it a slideshow too. If you have pics, make sure they are cleanly edited and put them at the end in your credits (if they are at the end, otherwise not at all), which brings me to my last comment:
7. There aren't any credits! Put them at the beginning or end. A disclaimer is a MUST. The clips belong to Wolf, NBC, Universal, etc. Song belongs to Daniel Powter. Your internet alter ego name is also a good idea, as is the year.

wow okay thats a TAD harsh.... Oliviafan for your first video, I think it was good, there is a very things that you need to tweak here and there but i commend you on putting it out there for those to see, its very hard to show your work and I think that took great courage. My advice: Just keep messing around with different effects and things, experiment with your video editing software, Dont get discouraged. Nobody here is a film director, i studied film in college and i am def NO expert lol, and nobody here has made a PERFECT video, so these are just suggestions coming from regular people, when you do a fan video its good not to use to much dialogue but if you happen to like the dialogue you are using then just take the volume down on the music, its all about messing around and finding what works for YOU, you dont have to please everyone when you make a video because thats impossible, if you like what you have done then dont ever change it, always be true to you and never conform to what other people want. Keep working on it and I cant wait to see the next one that you come out with ~Kristin
