I want to do a SVU podcast (a ), but I want to see what y'all think about doing it. I would tape it via my pc.. all I need you guys to do is join in on the fun by talking. SO I need your opinions....
1) Do you have a mike to participate
2) What do you think of the idea?
3) If you have a mike and want to participate what would be good days to do it for you?

I don't want it to be mine... I want it to be a group effort, so whatever we as a group who participate want on it. The only thing I will do is 1 participate 2) record 3) help schedule it.

But what would it be about? The writers of SVU, the SVU cast members, crew?
And would this be posted for everyone to download? Security is a main thing here as we all observe the 4th amendment.

It would be posted on the net, and I will subscribe it to the Itunes registry, where anyone can download it. We would talk about the cast, recent episodes, writers, crew members, anthing and anyone relating to SVU, I would suggest keeping it on or around 30 minutes to a hour, as that is most pppls tolerance for any podcast. It would probably done weekly, becuase then we keep it current, and I was thinking, if your guys scheduled allowed, doing it wednesday or Thursday nights, so that would be good once the new episodes start becuase then we will have just seen the new episode the day b4. Just my ideas.... But I can't do this without those of you who can help, helping.

No, I don't really think this is a good idea. For one thing, we can't guarantee to be on around those times and weekly is out of the question for people who have heavy workloads in school and other stuff, such as people who have AP classes. The staff is very busy and so are other people on this board.
Second, as you said, anyone can download this. Before you know it, we'll have people in our faces because they do not agree with our views or opinions of the show. The last thing we need is this site to close down because of that.
Third, they have voice regonition software and with the government tapping phones and whatnot, they can easily tell who is the person talking. But that's just me.
I overall think we shouldn't do this. When the episodes start, we can create a thread for the episode in the Episode board and post our reviews there. Or we can post a review on a livejournal or whatever blog you use.

It would be hosted on another site, and it also would be non-affiliated with this site, other than fans of the show from this would be on it. Also most ppl don't leave comments, they find it a waste of thier time to listen then take time to make comments, when they only have time to listen. But I started a random podcast and have 200 ppl subscribed in 2 weeks.

Still though, a lot of SVU fans are shippers, specifically E/O shippers: If we say anything remotely along the lines of dissing their likes and their views among other things not relating to them, they'll rant about it. I know we have free speech, but some people go overboard sometimes and do stupid things. And you still have the privacy issue. Voice recognition software! Morales uses it on the show, the government uses it, and God knows who else uses it. I still think it's a bad idea.

Yeah, well one of the reasons I want to do a SVU podcast is becuase no is doing one, so if they do not like our opinions, then they should make there own so we have more out there, and, if we want, I can use my program to change the pitch and sound of our voices, so many times over, no one person will be able to recongnize our voices, not that I thnk the goverment or anyone else would want to, we are just a bunch of SVU fans.
