I'm having trouble loading the forum in the browser I currently use- Opera- and apparently it is something in the headers/footers. I was wondering if anyone else uses Opera, and if you're having issues loading as well. But, I thought this would be an interesting poll as well. My main browser is Opera, but I do use IE, Firefox and Safari.

I use IE and Firefox equally, although I just recently started using Firefox and I really like it!! Still in the process of learning all the things I can do with it!!

I use Opera mainly, and I have had some problems with loading the site as well. However, on my iPod I only have Safari, and I've been having some issues with this site lately there as well.

Terry,
What kind of trouble specifically are you having? For me, the site simply stops loading around the "Elements" portion; I'm over at PBS trying to get it sorted, but I think their support staff is as stumped as I am about the issue.

A few times the last days when I've tried to access the site, it would load the header. When I tried to scroll down, it refused, and wasn't successful in loading the rest of the site, even if I left it alone for 5 minutes. However, I was able to just open up a new tab and then everything would work out.

I use Internet Explorer version 6 on this dial-up antique. LOL..I have had the same problem lately. A page only loads half way and when I try to scroll down I get code instead of the various thread titles. If that makes any sense. I then have to go back and hit home and start all over. I am having this problem not only here but at 2 other proboard sites I go too.
I was blaming dial-up. Guess NOt

I use IE7 at home and 6 at work, work is on dialup and dialup does NOT like the new proboards since the last upgrade. It stops loading on me and I start seeing the html coding underwhere it stops loading and sometimes it just goes to a blank white screen and I have to close it. I don't have any problems at home on high speed with IE7 though. I just opened the site in my mozilla too and it seemed ok!

That's because IE is a very evil thing, I haven't used in a long, long time. Though I had to use it the night we were chatting, because there was something wrong with my plug-ins and the chat wouldn't load. I seriously had to open IE two times, because it crashed the first...

It depends what I'm doing... At this moment im using IE but speaking of truth, if Firefox didn't had s lousy virus protection, I'd be using it the whole time. Personal opinion is that it's the best.

I've had a similar problem, with the page only half loading, but it's only happaned a few times, so I didn't bother. Seeing as my internet keeps randomly crashing, I didn't see a need to worry!
