Ok - I know there is a thread already about her first appearence as the unit's new ADA. What about her over all performance in general. Has/is she growing on you?
For me, she's slowly getting there. Still not too happy with the 'us vs. them' attitude. She's still a hard arse and still very by the book, but she's proven herself in the episode "RETRO" that she can get her hands dirty...almost.
I would like to see her really get in the trenches with the rest of the detectives. But her people/victim skills still need a major over haul. If I were a victim, I wouldn't want to have ADA Kim Greylek coming near me. Know what I mean?
I really would like to see more of her story/history as well. Give a little more insight to the character. Why she does/says the things she does. What's her motovation/reason for joining SVU. That sort of thing.
My heart will always belong to Alex Cabot, the Ice Queen. And my loyalty will always be with Alex and Casey.

I'm in a place where I have absolutely no feelings for her. I don't hate her, I don't like her. The only thing I do have is that I really can't stand that bun of hers. She needs a new hairstyle. Four episodes and still the same thing? Alex and Casey had a different hairstyle for the most part, as did Olivia when her hair was long, Warner too. I've seen pictures of Michaela's hair loose and I think she looks better like that, so I hope the bun becomes something else because it just really burned itself out. I understand if she wants to look professional but come on now.
I'm more curious about her personal life- all this talk about her going through a divorce. When is that topic going to come up? I think the closest to that was her introduction on SVU in Trials when she explained that she was held up in D.C. for a personal matter, long story. Maybe that will help my opinion feelings for her for zero to like/dislike. And will the estranged husband make a brief appearance? As SVU is known to show off family members so it's no stranger in that area.

I find her interesting. She seems so stern and hard on the outside. I wonder a lot what works up her up and what's her weaknesses.
She seems to me to believe in what she does and sticks to the book 100%. For right now I can't say I like her or hate her but for right now I think she has potential to do very well.

I agree with you Queenqueg. I'd like to see that tough exterior just slip...just a tiny bit. Maybe she'll be more likeable (I guess), maybe more human - right now she seems too much of a robot.

I some how don't think the way her character is being written lends its self to anyone really getting close to her in the Squad.
She is hard as nails.

Ok - in PTSD, Kim really kicked uniform butt. I don't know if Casey or even Alex would have pulled off what she did in the episode. Dispite being blocked at every turn, Kim and Olivia pushed their way through all the red tape that is the military.
Kim is slowly making her mark - maybe not a big dent, but a mark none the less.

I still don't think she has any substance. I realize my opinion maynot be the norm but that is how I see it.

Who knows Finaddict, they may replace her again by years end. I'm crossing my fingers

I'm thinking by years end the show will be over but if it isn't, I don't see her coming backing.

Well I'm slowly warming up to her but I still stand from my previous post here about her.
And when I said warming, I mean I'm getting used to her presence on the show rather then always expecting Casey to come through the door.

I think she is starting to grow on me one step at a time. She and Fin were funny at the squad room last night.

I liked the interaction Kim had with Liv, Fin and the others in SMUT. The writers should draw more personality out of her. Although, I'm still a loyal Alex/Liv fan.

I still say I'm a Casey fan but she's slowly starting to grow on me. I still say she needs to keep her mouth shut in situations like in BABES but you're right she IS funny and I give her credit for doing her job properly. At least she's a sticker for rules so I won't expect to see her breaking rules anytime soon.
