I'm not sure when this will air but I read on another site that Elliot signs the divorce papers. I'm really not looking forward to this and hope that the writers will have a change of heart and delete the scenes. Here is what I read...... Exterior Stabler House - Night Five Stabler stands outside, looking at the signed divorce papers under the porch light. The house is lit up and he can hear his children. He stuffs the envelope in the mail box and rings the doorbell. He goes. The door opens on Kathy. She sees the envelope in the box. She grabs it and inspects the contents. She comes out onto the porch, looking up and down the street. She sees Stabler waiting by the N.D. Sedan. A beat, as they share a look of loss, then Stabler gets in and drives away. But what I don't understand is, I thought Elliot had the house and Kathy and the kids were living with her mother.

Awww.... Poor El. Kathy did leave, but I guess Elliot moved out as well, so that she and the kids could come home I. Also If you noticed in the last episode he was at a hotel or something.

Probably in an apartment. E/O fans are going to bubbling with joy. Stupid writers...quit hinting at this. I'm not going on Fanfiction for a while...

I'm hoping they will change their minds and edit it out of the episode. I for on do not want them to get divorced. Then to me it becomes like al the other shows out there. For once I thought we could have someone who believed in marriage and the vows they took.

I know most don't, but why can't Wolf promote that small percentage?

It gave balance to the show. I know there is a large percentage of policemen/women whose marriages don't survive, but plenty do. Just like it is in all walks of life in these times.

Aw yes, that is sad. But it had to happen sometime, I suppose. And every time I hear now that someone marries a police officer, for example a cousin of mine did this past Summer [Detective], I think of what they do on TV. They seem to (maybe not always) but lots of times, break-up marriges. Mainly due to the father, if it's a guy, not being home much.
I am curious a little to see where this goes....

I'm hoping they will have a change of heart and edit that part out like they did the showere scene in season two, which in my opinion should have been left in.

Spouses should definately know what they're getting into any job like that require lots of commitment. And if they don't go into the relationship with a realistic view, then it's going to fall apart. It's sad, but true.

She knew what he did for a living and in what Division. Where was the surprise.

You know, I just realized the title of this episode, "Burned." You know, taking into context what "Burned" really means in today's language, I think this will have a greater chance of happening.

Yeah and I am saddened by the fact that it will probably happen. I still think that Elliot and Kathy together made the El/Olivia partnership on a much more even keel too. Now all the El/Olivia shippers will go bonkers
