The Twins beat the Tigers yesterday and there are 3 games left. The Tigers play the White Sox and the Twins play the Royals.
The Phillies clinched the NL East and the Rockies clinched at least a Wild Card.

I am glad for the Phillies as they have my fave Cliff Lee. May he do well.
I think the Tigers magic number is 2. I am crossing my fingers and toes to have the Tigers in it.

Yes the Tigers magic number is 2. They lost yesterday and the Twins won so they have a 1 game lead. They need to win. It's not likely the Twins will lose 2 games to the Royals. Maybe the first game as the Royals best pitcher, Greinke, is on the mound.

The Tigers & Twins both won so there will be a playoff game on Tuesday in Minnesota. They are unable to play on Monday due to the Packer/Viking football game.

I watched the whole game tween Tigers and Twins..too sad to post the loss. Kinda rootin for the Phillies cause Cliff Lee is pitching. UPDATE: Cliff Lee pitches a complete game to lead the Phillies to a 5-1 win over the Rockies.. Yankees 3 Twins 2 in the bottom of the 4th....
