Dear Trublu, Hey, girl! It's the Byrdman just responding to your very informative thread today. Thanks for posting this so promptly, it is much appreciated, girl! It is excellent that Mariska is nominated for an Emmy, I hope that she can receive this prestigious award! This is off-topic, but I was a bit bummed when Kathryn Morris and/or Cold Case received no nominations. Oh well, go Mariska! ;D Thanks, Trublu, and take care today, girl!

There is also a whole other list of nominations that you can read here: Emmy Nods Best guest starring actress in a drama saw a couple nods for Angela Lansbury for her role as Eleanor Duvall in "Night" and "Day" and Amanda Plummer as Miranda Cole in "Weak". So, who should get the wins? Best reality competition should go to either American Idol, or the Amazing Race (which i believe has won the past, two years). I think best comedy will be either Everybody Loves Raymond (because they do) or Desperate Housewives. Desperate Housewives has had a very popular start. Best actress in a drama should be Mariska. Obviously. ;D Best actor in a comedy, Tony Shaloub. He is HILARIOUS in Monk. And Best actress in a comedy will most likely end up being one of the Housewives. I was disappointed that Cold Case was passed up, yet again for a larger category. It was, however, nominated for Outstanding Art Direction for a Single Camera Series. I was positively HEARTBROKEN that Gilmore Girls was also passed up. That is one of the best written shows i have ever seen. If you have never watched it, i strongly urge you to do so. It is liked in my family by the girls and guys alike. Oh, and since when is Boston Legal a drama series?!

Hey did anyone else hear that Amanda Plummer won the emmy for best guest starring actress in a drama series for her portayal of Miranda Cole in "Weak?" I really hope this is true! I knew they announced the winners for the guest-starring roles and other categories before-hand but I still don't know if this is accurate or not.

Tony shaloub won for monk. They were talking about it on extra.
They were talking about jennifer garner but only that she presented an award and about her pregnancy but didn't say she won anything.
