I’ve witnessed a once in a life time event: I watched as the Olympic Flame run by me. It was the coolest thing ever!!! My fingers are frozen and my cheeks are solid cold but I had the best time of my life! I'll remember this moment for a very long, long time Just thought I'd share GO! CANADA! GO!

who was running with it today??? To be honest I didn't recognize the guy, but the woman that he handed the torch to works in my building. She works for royal bank (one of the sponsers of the Olympics). I knew she looked familiar - she's a teller that I used a couple of weeks ago. It was super cool though to actually see it go by you.

Is it for Men's hockey, Womens? Or both? I'm a big fan of the womens. I've already met Hayley Wickenheiser and my sister's 'sister inlaw' played with Vicky Sunohara for a short time when they were kids. Can you tell, I'm a hockey nut...ok, maybe just a nut

No no I totally understand. My mum is the same way, a total hockey nut She is doing both, I am sure she is working the Gold Medal Women's game and I'm sure she is doing quite a few of the Men's qualifying and Women's as well. I think she may be lucky enough to be working the day of the Gold Medal Men's game WOW! Those are the coolest encounters that you and your sister's "sister-inlaw" have had. ;D To Finaddict: Haahaa!! She (my mum) certainly thought so!
