thanks for another update. Some how that Crgen wears Brooks Brothers doesn't surprise me. Very conservative look.

I've always felt that some of the Detectives wear clothes that are way too out of character for an NYPD detective. I mean, there is no person hired in the NYPD who comes to work every day dressed in clothes from Hugo Boss. And though I loved Olivia's watch from seasons 2 through 9, I don't think cops usually have watches on their wrist that cost $12.000. And for Olivia's clothing this season, whoever is making my Butchy McFabulous wear that should be fired immediately! Though I understand that they want to make their characters look good, it's not very credible. I don't know if there are a lot of others who notice this, or care, for that matter, but it just bugs me slightly. Perhaps I'm just being picky, I don't know.

Production Blog was updated April 22nd Hi Everyone, Sorry to be away for a bit. As each season wraps up here at SVU, it gets busier and busier. As many of you have read someone will be killed in the season finale. No chance that I’m going to spill the beans on that one. You are going to have to tune in on June 2nd to find out. Again, please discuss within your comments your guesses. Good or bad, it’s good to have all discussions on the blog. Since we aired a repeat this week, I figured I’d post some generic pictures from set. Do you ever wonder how we shoot those wide, swooping shots around our sets? We use a techno-crane. Here’s a shot of it in the set during rehearsal: There are pictures at blog.nbc.com/laworder_svu/

Production Blog was updated May 5th. blog.nbc.com/laworder_svu/production_blog/Thanks Thanks for all the feedback. A few people are asking if Chris and Mariska will be in the season finale. Absolutely. Again, I’m sorry to say I can’t reveal who is going to be killed in the finale. I can hook you up with some behind the scenes photos from the season finale. We lugged all our stuff out to Coney Island. We were blessed with a beautiful day to shoot. Go to blog to view a few Coney Island pics. We always provide some shade for the actors and crew when it’s sunny. Here’s Chris, Richard, and Ice staying cool. Can you speculate from here on why we’d be shooting at Coney Island? So lastly, I know it’s not the biggest question that many of you are asking, but I understand some of you think that I am the showrunner, Neal Baer. Sorry to say that I am not. That’s a fact. Hit me up with some question on tonight’s episode “Crush”.

Production Blog was updated 5/19/09. Yes, SVU and Neal Baer are on Twitter. Hi everyone,Some people wanted me to confirm SVU on Twitter. It’s true, SVU is @nbcsvu It is also true that @nealbaer is in fact the real Neal Bear. Hopefully sooner then later some more of our cast will be live on Twitter, but for now if you want to check out Ice T’s twitter it’s: @finallevel Now that we are on Hiatus, there is some interesting stuff happening here at the SVU stages. Wanted to give you all an inside peek of the transformation of our Squadroom. Not going to tell you exactly what’s changing, but I’ll keep posting updated construction shots to keep you up to date. There are 3 pics on the Blog site. blog.nbc.com/laworder_svu/production_blog/This is a shot from what was the Squadroom hallway towards what was a wall of the Squadroom. This is a reverse shot from what was inside the Squadroom towards where the Multiplex monitors were. Any guesses about what we are adding?

New Production Blog entry 8/3/09 August 03, 01:24 PM Hi everyone! So we just starting Episode 3 and things are moving along swimmingly. We have some amazing guest stars in the first three: Wentworth Miller, Eric McCormack, Christine Lahti, and Stephen Rea (just to name a few). I know its delayed news, but I’m sure most of you heard Mariska is once again nominated for an Emmy. She's nominated this year along with Ellen Burstyn, Brenda Blethyn, and Carol Burnett as guest stars. We are very excited because SVU has now received a total of 22 nominations! Some of you couldn’t tell from the photos how the new Media Room ties into the old squad room. Here’s a picture of the floor plans so you can see how it fits together. The Media room is outlined in orange and the squad room is in purple. blog.nbc.com/laworder_svu/

I've been wondering, where the heck did SVU get the money for a 'media room'? I mean, their cops, not FBI...so who dished out the dough?

I've been wondering, where the heck did SVU get the money for a 'media room'? I mean, their cops, not FBI...so who dished out the dough? Maybe Elliot sold some of his suits from Hugo Boss, and Olivia gave up her $12.000 watch and they all chipped in?

lol. Or maybe Alex decided to sell her Benz and take the bus like regular folks - no more traffic jams!

I like that one, JrBenson. Those traffic jams can ruin awhole episode.

Maybe I should volunteer as Alex's driver. In case of traffic jams, I'd just use the sidewalk or something.

For peet's sake, take the subway! I Know! As a stipulation in Mariska & Chris's new contracts, they donated part of their new salary to the new media center. ;D

well that is good. Now maybe people will stop being critical of what they earn.
