Just a quick note before bed time: This is probably one of the defining moments in Elliot's career. If not the most important.

Good evening everyone, Hello, this is the Byrdman coming at you again. I hope that everyone is doing great this evening, and that you are all rocking and rolling just as I am! I saw this ep last night, and Elliot did have an awakening, that's for sure. Granted, after he was nearly punched out by his boss, but... The whole steroid story was one I paid particular attention to. It is always important to bring up the bad effects of those awful drugs. I still cannot believe that they have become so prevalant in society today. I hate steroids, and always have. Goodness, the awful things those drugs do to your mind and body are terrible. And for what? Sorry to go on a rant, I have always worked out, but I have never used that stuff, and I never plan to. Maybe I won't be as big (I'm a little guy), but dynamite comes in small packages! Watch me explode! Ha, no, I'm kidding. Thanks for your attention, take care, and please have a great night, everyone! My best to you as always!

I was looking forward to this episode so much that I put off my homework just to watch it! I mean, finding out about Elliot's rage and separation from Kathy? It sounded like an excellent episode to me! ...but I was kinda disappointed with this ep. Maybe all the hype is to blame...or just the fact that I really don't like Dr. Hendrix lol. I loved seeing Christopher Meloni in the scenes that dealt with Elliot's abusive father and Kathy leaving him because of his rage, but the case with the steroids seemed sort of boring to me. I think that people who hadn't seen past seasons of SVU would have really disliked this episode...they wouldn't have known about Elliot's past outbursts of anger and the steriod - abusive father case seemed lacking to me. Oh well...I still liked the episode though . P.S. Does anyone else REALLY miss Casey's red hair? Personally, I don't like the blonde look on her.

The case having to do with steroids seemed like it wasn't thought out. Like they just threw it in for no apparent reason. But, I do feel bad for Stabler though. We now know about his rage problems and how he came up with them. Anyways... I loved the episode. P.S. I do miss Casey's red hair! The blonde doesn't even look blonde it looks as if she didn't dye all of the red out. I almost looks orange.

I wasnt particularly thrilled by this episode either. Granted, it was an important episode for Elliot, and we got to see him display some emotions that we normally dont see from his character. So, bravo to Mr. Meloni for a job well done in this episode. The range of emotions that Elliot displayed was great. But, the story line itself was weak. Half planned. I think we saw the victim for a whole five minutes in the episode, and what was with Elliot urging her parents not to press charges?! Totally uncharacteristic, unrealistic, and poorly thought out. Then they move on to the steroids thing. That was ok, though even my mum called it before they showed it. Too predictable. But nothing ever came of it, not really. And they only focused on it for about 10 minutes. So, figure, I said 5 minutes for the victim, 10 for the story line, 15 for commercials (because thats really what it works out to be ladies and gentlemen) but that leaves a whole other 30 minutes. What happened? Absolutely nothing. The writers lost sight of the case. Its supposed to be about the victims, remember? Its ok to have a little personal stuff thrown in, but hey, we're here to see a plot too, right? I'm on the fence about Casey's hair. I dont mind the blonde, but I'd prefer the red. It just looked so pretty (I'm like that guy on the commercial if you've ever seen it: "Brunettes or redheads?" "Yes!" ) ;D

I really looked forward to this episode & I must say I expected it to be much better.
The steroid story was sort of boring. When Elliot went to Dr. Hendrix house & confessed my eyes where stuck to the screen. Elliot's father is a bastard. His father beat him when he saw Elliot moved a tree in the battlefield. I couldn't believe he went through that, I wanted to cry . Dr. Hendrix looks nice right.
Elliot really opened up & we saw a side of his personal life that we thought never existed.
Episode Rating: 7 out of 10.
P.S Casey's hair does look orange. I want Casey to go back to the sexy redhead.

Anyway, I def liked the red hair on Casey better and her new blonde look is just giving Casey-bashers ammunition to claim that she's trying to be more like Alex. But for me, there's just no way Casey will ever compare to Alex ...they're simply too different. So it looks like most people were disappointed with the plot of this episode even though Chris was fantastic in it. I hope that next week's ep returns to the ol' SVU formula of a creative, intense plot with many twists and turns and maybe a few insights into the characters' lives. I believe those are the best episodes of SVU!

I also saw this episode too. I thought it was very good. The whole steriods storyline bored me kind of. Cuz I kept hearing around the world and in real life. I don't know what to say about Casey's hair color cuz I just recently watch this show and I think I like it better with the redhead It was great to see Mary Masterson in it! I just love her as being the actress!! I just never seen her in shows other than movies like Some kind of Wonderful and Fried Green Tomoatoes which she did an amazing job in those movies. I am still unsure what her character does but her acting is wonderful!! Elliott character was amazing to me cuz I kind of knew he have anger problem but I never seen him being so open about his family and his dad's abuse. I didn't know him and Kathy already seprated. I thought they still married. Seeing Benson in it, she looks very beautiful!! Overall, the episode was pretty good! Can't wait for next week!!
