I watched it but am still not certain if I liked it or not. LOL. I will have to sleep on it.

I liked it, not the best but certainly not the worst episode!

Well in retrospect, it was too bad I just don't think this show seems like SVU anymore

I partly agree with you, Finaddict, though I did like the episode. But SVU isn't as good as it once was... And this time, the first vicitim was just a homicide, no rape or anything else to suggest that SVU would get the case, am I right? And I really miss our old SVU, with Elliot bellowing at the supects and Liv running after some rapist, before bashing his head against the wall ... But I hope that the show will start to look more like it's old self again, and soon.

I want the old El, the old Liv and Munch and Fin.

I didn't like this episode for some reason maybe because it's wasn't SVU eppy I don't know what's up with this show, but I want the old SVU back I hate this new SVU they've got going on although I loved Melinda in this and we learn she's got a sister how awesome is that. I can't wait to hear more info that is if the writers will give us anymore.

I'm still wondering why they have to keep writing episodes that go something like this: find girl who appears to be raped, find out she actually wasn't, continue investigating anyway. This would never happen in the real police squads; SVU has enough to deal with on a daily basis that I imagine they would gladly pass off a homicide to, well, homicide.
There were too many holes in the story for my liking. First, if Benson and Stabler knew they were visititing a family, why did they originally go in alone? They should have had backup; they would have caught some of the kids, Cole probably wouldn't have gotten away (though having him climb on a truck was pretty cool). Second, why would the detectives bribe Josie with food? Just giving her food would have been enough fodder to make her talk, they didn't have to wave it in front of her face. And, finally: everyone knew Cole was violent (he was a suspect in three murders, after all), so why did they let Josie and the woman go back to the shelter alone? It's like they wanted their key witness to be abducted by their suspect.
I liked the premise of the episode (minus the fact that it was a mothership ep, not a SVU ep), but it had a few too many holes for my liking.

I completely agree with you, Trublu, it's like "Hey, were all out of sex crimes, but let's pretend a homicide looks like a rape, and investigate it anyway!"
I am just getting so incredi-belolo annoyed with the show lately! Why can't they let SVU be SVU? *Falls down on knees screaming why*

If I have to see another episode that isn't an SVU case I might as well scream because this is ridiculous it's not even funny and it's like the Benson and Stabler show now and it's really getting on my nerves.
