Four years ago today. We have not forgotten where we were, what we were doing, who we were with. What we lost. 2,973. 2,973 lives.
We began that day fighting terrorism with all our being, in the hopes that the job those 2,973 people started can be finished.
Let us pay tribute to those people who gave their lives for us. Let us rise to the occasion. Let us finish what they started. Let's Roll.

I also believe that it is necessary to remember the victims of September 11, and for all of us to be aware of even the smallest of things we can do to promote peace. I think I can say for a fact that none of us will ever forget what happened on that fateful day in 2001.

Did anyone see the program on September 11, 2005 on the Discovery Channel. They were talking about flight 93. It was called the flight that fought back. It was so so so so sad.

Yeah, I watched it last night. It was a heartbreaking show to watch. Its an eerie thing really, watching all the specials that they've made. We want to try and understand... but in reality, we will never understand.

Dear Trublu, Hey, girl! I just wanted to say that I was so inspired by the way you put that comment in your first post here. I have always felt we needed to fight those evil terrorists since that frightful day, but your comment inspired me, girl. ;D Did President Bush say this? I thought a soldier was the one who came up with "Let's roll." This might be from the soldier. In any case, you did a great job, girl. Very patriotic, and please keep it up and keep the faith as well. America ROCKS! Let freedom ring! In any case, great job, girl.

The "Let's Roll" quote came from Todd Beamer, who was one of the many brave men and women who stood up to the terrorists on Flight 93.
The rest of my post was written by me (my own wording), although I do believe that most other speeches probably say something along the same lines.

Dear Trublu, Hey, girl! Thanks so much for clearing that up for me, I knew someone other than President Bush had said it, and thanks for putting your piece together for us, girl. I know that all the people who lost their lives that terrible day would feel honored by your work, it was very moving, girl. I will also echo Queequeg's statement here: it was indeed beautiful. You are a patriotic girl, and please keep that attitude up. If the terrorists had their way, they would take away our way of life and try to kill us all. America rocks, and we will not bow down to any nuts like Osama bin Laden and his evil thug buddies, that's for sure! Thanks again for putting this piece together, Trublu. Take care, and have a great night, girl! Oh, and let freedom ring, Queequeg! You know it, girl!
