I have to have something removed from my head, a mole or birthmark or whatever it is. No anesthesia, nothing. It's in a couple hours and I'm really nervous. It's going to hurt really badly, and that's all I get to focus on, because I'm not allowed to bring music or anything. Wish me luck!

Hey arandomtuesday, Hey, girl. Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about this. And that you are nervous too. I know your operation will be over by now, but I wish you luck and hope that you did well. I'm sure you did. Please come back and tell us how you are doing, arandomtuesday. Also, please hang in there, girl. You will get through this, I know.

Thanks byrdman! I was really really nervous going in. I brought a pencil with me (to squeeze, bend, break, bite, whatever) and I sung myself a couple songs in my head, which was good. The nurse came in and told me she would use a local anesthetic, which was like a shot. Then the doctor came in and that's when I got really nervous. He told me what he was going to do (basically scoop it out like ice cream). At this point I was scared. The nurse did the shot thing, which hurt but after that it was all just pressure. Then there was a little electric zapper thing that closed up the scoop mark.
It's only sore right now.
good parts: The hair and the hole on the back of my head will grow back (;D) and I'll be fine. It only took about 15 minutes. I can wash my hair as normal tomorrow. I got to read that magazine Mariska is on the current cover of while I was waiting.

I think it was Redbook, I could be (and probably am) wrong.
